That someone would actually allow someone to intimidate them into marrying someone they didn't really want to marry shows you how sick these people are. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Yep isn't that just like the evil money hungry gas mongers. They raised prices before there was any damage and now it's reported that there is no damage to any gas refiners. oil is under a hundred bucks a gallon so gas prices should be what they were a year ago. And many millions without power or being able to work are going to have to pay more for fuel when they do go back to work. One of these days I'm hoping for a good ol' fashioned linching mob to hang those jerks who run those companies who are taking us to the cleaners.

I agwee with you wittle Wascal- Much depends on who you hang with. Ya have to get out make new friends and start livin'. Greasespot has helped me too. It took a long time to get "way brained" it's gonna take some time to change. But is it worth it? Hell yeah.

Funny you should say that. We got a call from twi leadership begging us to come back. So we said sure thing-"NOT" That's the last place on earth I'd want to be.

I think there is a natural enthusiam the youth have. Twi did prey on the youth of our day and use it to promulgate the corporation.

I'm no mathematician but my life is so much better after I got away from twi and all the oppression and guilt.

My wife says I keep her awake snoring. I've heard of all kinds of solutions but I've never heard anyone say they worked. Anyone know of a good remedy.

We use webers at our boat club . They get used daily and stand up like no others we've tried. I'd buy them anytime.

Rhino-Thanks, great thread. I think any misconception we can uncover here helps everyone, not just those who are still active in cults or offshoots. Makes me think of how grateful I am that I GOT OUT. Just spoke to a few friends I tried to help out when I left years ago, they didn't see it then. They just left twi this week. Sometimes it takes time. Words are powerful and VP definately and subtily made it clear that he was the MOG for this day and age. Put two and two together and you have the higher power. What he said was right, governmental rule and their laws went out the window. So that left you with his twisted view, and we were programmed to listen. Scary, when you think of it now. He had us all duped. You helped me understand something I didn't see before. I think one big mistake was that we all looked to VP himself as "the higher power". There was no "higher powerS" He was a dictator. Any group that lets one man rule with total authority is in for trouble. There has to be "a multitude of councelors" in any "higher powers" situation or you don't have anything close to what the Word is saying. There has to be a way to "put in check" a loose cannon. VP was more than that, he was well we all know now what he was. Anyhow, thanks for that Rhino.

Reminds me of the joke about the teacher asking what the father of this kid did for a living. The kid says "he's an artist". Teacher says-Oh what kind of an artist is he. The kid says "a con artist". (Must have been one of the Vicsters kids.)

I'd read many of the threads here on "about the way". It's the best advice I've seen. There are many books suggested here that cover spiritual abuse and recovery. Try the book thread.
