Love it. The leaven spoils the whole loaf. And that was my point. That the MOGs bad practice was a result of corruption in their thinking and affected the whole. If bad thinking is not checked it doesn't get better it gets worse. Soon they were doing more and more to cover for their actions which resulted in the increased regulatory and judgmental action as pointed out in socks post. (great stuff socks) Example, they thought they were better than everyone, they thought they could do no wrong. Pride, pride, pride which did affect those around them and still lingers in those who are have themselves locked into their way of thinking.

He always thought he was right as they do. Notice how they go running for the hills when their logic is broken down. Of course the MOGs did everything they could to cover up for any dissension in the ranks. The Galatians tapes were made by LCM to try to bring the allegiance of the masses back to him after many of the leadership had left with their people after POP. Basically they talked about how the Galatians had been bewitched or fooled into walking in the flesh and not in the spirit. And that anyone who had not followed what the "father in the word" old Doc Vic had said about the transfer of the mantle to LCM was walking the same way. One reason I could think of why Mrs. W. didn't like C Geer was because he was the Vicsters bus driver and then became his personal assistant. She was aware of all the woman he funnelled into the coach for the Vicster right outside of the house where Mrs. W lived.

For the most part it was those who bent over far enough to kiss the MOGs a** who got ahead. There were some with great ability and great heart who were simply used to further the corporation. They all got out. Some lurk around here at times. When you read their posts you know how fortunate we are to hear what they have to say.

White Dove-Perhaps you misunderstood what he was saying. He said they told you to leave.....or you would suffer consequences. It was a mind control game. I know of many corps brothers who were literally escorted off Twi property by thugs. Too many bad stories to list. I will give one good example. I know first hand a trunk coordinator not just a coprs person, or limb leader a trunk coordinator who was a very kind and loving person. He simply handed in his resignation and asked to leave. Well the MOG gave him so many hours (not enough) to get his belongings off of twi property. No one was allowed to help him or talk to him. As you can suspect he could not get his stuff off fast enough and they simply "threw" not placed the rest of his furniture and belongings into a truck, breaking most of them. That's a mild one.

Just a thought. What if we selected the oil company with the highest profits. Tell everyone, (spread the new) not to buy from them. Shut them down. I wonder if they would lower their prices.

Want to hear something funny. In the latter end of the 90s and into the 2000s the ministry would shut down whole areas, towns and cities if there were no corps to send there. They would tell the believers to move to another town where there were corps present to "lead" them. Where they led them to is the question. (Usually down the drain).

Bob Stanely was a rocker for sure. This has certainly been an entertaining and enlightning thread. Thanks to many including DWBH for some great history. Someone mentioned they would like to know what has happened in the last several years. After the fog years LCM got the bright idea that the corps he was now responsible for should be a step up from Vicsters. It was called WC2 as many here know. It was sort of out with the old and in with the new. There was a big purging that went on not only in the whole ministry but also in the corps program. LCMs excuse was that many of the old grads and old corps were either lazy or didn't have the controntational skills that he wanted. (In other words they wouldn't bend over big enought to kiss his you know what). The only ordinations that came about in the mid ninties to LCMs demise were those who were his "hit men". They were the ones who could prove they could be as big of a jerk as LCM was. It was all about how many homos or lazy people or those who hadn't given enough ABS that they had searched out and given the boot. We had some come to our town, they told all us old corps that they were going to show us how to move the word and that because they were in LCM's corps they had gifts in operation. (sort of funny because after they came the word never moved again). There were only a couple of ordinations in those years. Since then in Rosie's domain there have been very few. Now they can't get more than a couple at a time to even go into the program and even then it's the kids of folks who are corps and put the pressure on to further the corporation. Just a few thoughts, hope it helps.

I think the question should be do you still love God as much before and after twi. As for studying the bible I think I've done enough to last a lifetime. My interest now is to live it rather than study it.

Question for you guitar players.I am looking for an acoustic that is easy on the fingers for picking.For now I do most of my picking on a classical cause I like the feel and my fingers don't fall off.Anyone have any ideas for me.Anyhow I came across this video of a guy who can play-

I know someone who is a professional counselor who used to be with the way. She has helped many who have left. If she wants that kind of help pm me and I will get your friend in touch with her. It is hard at first to believe how deep the lies were in twi. Give her time and love her like a true friend. Just be there and she will come around. Get her those book suggested. They are very good. Oh and be sure to tell her "she's not in Kansas anymore."

The Tinnie place was really just a house for the staff and for supplies. They would stay there while waiting for the next group to arrive. Most of the area around was national park land.

Waysider- I remember when they used (hid) the left over wheat berries from breakfast in our dinner meatloaf. Yuk. Looking back when I think of those who tried to warn me. Why didn't I listen. Now I tell people--"Run as fast as you can".
