  1. Right! Like the Democrats have not been doing that to Bush for the last 8 years, now all of a sudden they want peace.
  2. I replied to one already in place as others have as well. I was stating my opinion of the facts in the popular vote which do not line up with a landslide. It has nothing to do with political choices just accuracy of facts. If declaring it a non landslide is a political discussion then declaring it as one ,also is one. a political discussion I did not start by the way.
  3. The win was without question, but the popular vote was fairly split clearly a country divided. Thanks to the electorial vote system it won him the election. Now how that happened is another story.
  4. Couldn't agree more and we all know who he is not
  5. Barack Hussein Obama There all better, no matter how you spell his name it won't change who he is. Naw I only ask for proof for things that have no documentable evidence attached, when claims that something is true are made.
  6. Of course it is . It's the first step to voter fraud and ridicules concessions made in this election to buy and steal an election in any way possible. If that fails there is always the Black( Nightstick Panthers) to get the job done. You forgot his real name didn't you . Barak Hussain Obama
  7. Sure you can just register from any park bench, amazing what people will do to steal an election.
  8. Good for them, I applaud them for standing by their principles. Despite the fact that you think the offer came with no strings they felt otherwise If their belief is that those type of games are spiritually unhealthy then it seems logical that they would not want to profit for their sales or promotional events. Nor would they want to imply by accepting funds that they in any way supported their product. Apparently their ethics were more important, not everyone thinks the ends justify the means. They certainly are not the first or last to do so, many animal shelters refuse money from breeders, some refuse government grants because they don't want to kill the animals. I'll write them a note ,regardless of which side of the fence you fall on their beliefs, I find it refreshing that some still have integrity to stand for what they believe in. PS It looks like they have enough funds to get some clean water anyway......... Donor Partners (2007 Fiscal Year) U.S. Government $7,600,000 ChildFund International (now ChildFund Alliance) Members $3,600,000 U.N. Agencies $6,500,000 Host Country Governments $2,000,000 Foundations and Corporations $515,376 Other International Non-Governmental Organizations $1,700,000
  9. And that is the very thing that makes our rights so valuable, there is no "but" in them, they are not earned or doled out based on if someone thinks another deserves them
  10. I would guess that question would apply to everyone including his armchair critics It is always amazing that everyone else gets a pass on speaking up ,because they were just too "intimidated" Golly Gee after all someone might call them a name or something. Perhaps the real question for many that goes unanswered is Why didn't you do it in your own life ,rather than worrying about what John did .
  11. Maybe they will interview CIA agent Richard Dwyer
  12. I have not followed it too close but I believe that they placed leans on the law building and church property and cars. But it is just a little over a million dollars I think.
  13. They have a law firm here in Topeka. Most of the kids are lawyers some work at the family firm some in the community in various jobs. I forget how many there are but it is at least a dozen., Part of their income comes from suing the city which they have successfully done several times. Someone told me that they get a lot of support from white supremacy groups from all over the US as well. However the recent case they lost may shortly bankrupt them. Here
  14. David you are incorrect about Fred I see him and his wife in the picket lines all the time with his bullet proof vest on. I pass the church and the law offices most every day. Just saw some of the clan a few minutes ago but Fred was not in that group.
  15. LULL Is that what you call it I'm thinking lullaby is more like it ,looks like it already put Exsie to sleep. Better put the blanket on her. Do I hear Letterman's top ten ways to kill a message board?
  16. In the 70s pre- motercoach VP and the Mrs. used to come to Kansas in the old camper. Sometimes they would stay at Dr. Strouds house and hookup the camper there. Generally if they were in town you would see it parked in front of the old Harley store at some point during the stay. One time I was driving down the street when I noticed it (Like you could miss it ) parked by the store. Stopped in and VP and Howard were on official ministry business checking out the bikes. They stopped on the way to Wichita
  17. ROCK NOTES Kimball’s career is a-changin’ By Steve Morse, Globe Staff | August 6, 2004 Everyone cheers when an unsung hero gets a break. After years of paying his Boston dues, guitarist Stu Kimball has recently been hired to back Bob Dylan on tour. Translation: Kimball has suddenly moved up from playing the Lizard Lounge and Toad in Cambridge to playing Bonnaroo and wherever else Dylan's so-called "Never Ending Tour" goes. He has done 30 shows so far and got to jam with Rolling Stone Ron Wood when Wood jumped up one night with Dylan. "It's an honor, but I can't really say much more about it," says Kimball, who takes the Fifth if you probe him about the notoriously private Dylan. Still, it is indeed an honor for Kimball, who has been one of the most beloved musicians in Boston. He has worked with Peter Wolf (co-producing Wolf's "Long Line" album), and with the Twinemen, the Laurie Sargent Band, Face to Face, Bigtown, and the Martha's Vineyard group Drawn Butter. Kimball has also backed Carly Simon. But landing the Dylan gig -- which he got through an audition -- is the biggest break of his career. "It's always great to play with supremely talented musicians," says Kimball, who will be with the group Sunday when Dylan and Willie Nelson headline Campanelli Stadium in Brockton. Meanwhile, many Boston performers can't say enough good things about Kimball, a New Hampshire native who first came to Boston in the early '80s with Face to Face, which included singer Sargent and drummer Billy Beard, who now books the Lizard Lounge and Toad. "Stu was like the musical guru of our school," says Sargent, who has known him since they attended high school in Hopkinton, N.H. "We don't really have to talk about playing together because we're so used to each other." "When we found out that Stu got the Dylan gig, nobody cheered louder than us," says drummer Billy Conway of the Twinemen. "Just being near it has been enough for all of us." (Kimball came back and joined the Twinemen last week at the Middle East.) "Stu is one of the most soulful musicians I have ever played with," says saxophonist Dana Colley, who is also in the Twinemen. "When he plays, it just comes from within. He's a musician's musician, that's for sure." The self-taught Kimball started playing guitar at age 10 and then became hooked on Jimi Hendrix, the Stones, and the Beatles. "I've always gravitated to players who made their instrument talk," he says. "When I was younger, it was Hendrix. And it's always been Keith Richards of the Stones. And one of my favorite modern-day players is Mike Campbell with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers." Kimball's history with Dylan actually goes back to 1985 when Kimball played guitar on "When the Night Comes Falling from the Sky," a track on Dylan's "Empire Burlesque" album. Kimball also played with some of Dylan's backup musicians when they assisted on Wolf's last album, "Sleepless." "I first met Stu back in the Face to Face days," says Wolf, whom Kimball considers his best friend. "We've shared many long nights together playing music until dawn and then doing it again. He's a comrade in arms." © Copyright 2006 Globe Newspaper Company. PS I always liked the song when the Night comes falling from the Sky It always reminded me of a response to Craigs loyalty letter with lyrics like I saw thousands who could have overcome the darkness, For the love of a lousy buck, I've watched them die. Stick around, baby, we're not through, Don't look for me, I'll see you When the night comes falling from the sky. Well, I sent you my feelings in a letter But you were gambling for support. This time tomorrow I'll know you better When my memory is not so short. This time I'm asking for freedom, Freedom from a world which you deny. And you'll give it to me now, I'll take it anyhow When the night comes falling from the sky.
  18. Of course the proof is in the tasting. It's 80 proof as I recall
  19. I like my disk...Besides it only works as a coaster if you are drinking Drambuie
  20. I keep them around because it's just not the same when I burn candles and incense before an empty bookshelf. Oh and there is a cure for the bookshelf space all nice and tidy on one disk.
  21. I agree few answers is not the same as all the truth...... the only one few clearly indicates that there are some outside of the way, and as such all the truth the only one could not be one person VP. This quote supports the point I do believe VPW thought we in twi had the most truth available and I think that's the most factual and correct way to state it. not "TWI is the sole representative on God on earth, the only place there is truth." MOST yes, SOLE and ONLY no.
  22. I find it interesting that after eight pages no one, not one, person complained about John being off topic ...Yes remember it was he who introduced the quote not pldies or myself who have only pointed out it was in error. You might want to mention your complaint to John. I guess this is your response to my question of what you have to support the case you yourself have been making for several pages. I'm not surprised it's typical when one has nothing to back up their claim, when faced with documented proof, to sneak out the back door with the topic card. Oh ,and by the way Fellow Laborers was not the topic either but it did not seem to detour you from adding it to the conversation.
