Ah, I think I see the key to all of this.. maybe subliminally, he was telling us the truth? "never HEARD that in all his years.." Lessee.. Ma and Pa dragged young vp to church every sunday.. fifty or so times a YEAR.. and he didn't hear it. Not that they weren't SAYING it. When he was a town bully, wearing a leather jacket and riding his motorcycle in town while standing on the seat.. he didn't HEAR the message.. not that they weren't giving it. You have to remember, we didn't have quite the separation of church and state in those days.. they studied the Bible as part of the friggin curriculum. YEARS in Seminary, and he didn't HEAR that the Bible is the Word of God???!! What seminary did he attend?? First church of Satan? You'd think so by his description.. Honestly, I think this is correct. He did NOT "hear" it. Not that they didn't try.. Finally, we come to this "vivacious" lady, that had to practically beat the h*ll out of him to finally "hear" it. Speaks a great deal about his character, at least to me. Perhaps he SUCCUMBED to this kind of treatment.

I wonder if there is some kind of addiction involved.

Bro. Speed, I'm sure George Dubya wouldn't mind if you played hooky for at least a couple of days! :D-->
-
Well.. how about trying, "Oooooh, Mighty Paw.." I'm a "believer". It worked for me! :D-->

Which browser are you using? I use Netscape, and it does have a little "eye" that shows up on the taskbar. It indicates that pop-ups on some sites are disabled. Don't know if you eye is exactly the same though.

Did Jesus own his own personal scroll of the O.T.?

But knowing the culture, I think we have a few good clues. -

Is that your vote Raf? Perfectly acceptable. I don't rule MY threads with a rod of iron or anything! :)--> -
Yep.. just like a fish called Wanda..

Stranger things may have happened, but I kinda question this kind of thing too.. When I was a WOW, one guy showed up in the middle of the night. He was conviced "they" were after him.. his eyes were very, very dialated..

I think that was the Trojan Squirrel..

I wonder what kind of sound a thundering herd of those rascals would make..

Yep.. well, shameless self promotion aside, I did learn a lot more about the constitution and such than knew previously. I still have the little red book that came with the class.. "Our Republic" by Harry Atwood- think that was the name of it.

Well, I'm experiencing a few technical "difficulties" acquiring the said beast.. When I get one, you'll be among the first to know! :)-->

Congratulations! Hope you have a LOT of happy years together.

I finally found somebody that really appreciates that which is ludicrous and bizarre: My squirrel recipe should still be at the top of this page.. :D-->

Honestly, I'm glad it did.

In honor of Oakspear, valiantly posting SHORTLY before the big event, I thought he might need a few good excuses. 1. My car burned down, and I had to wait for the fire department to get there. 2. The dog ate my tuxedo. 3. I got "nervous" and had a few too many.. 4. "They" wouldn't LET me come. but perhaps the grandaddy of them all: 5. I just HAD to post ONE MORE TIME on Greasespot.

A few more exerpts: But look at the reality of the situation: Emphasis, mine.. Two others in the same training session??!! Not so isolated as we may be led to believe.. FOUR DAYS in a "looney bin" to get it straightened out.. holy smokes. And she wasn't the only one, in the same session.. No wonder they have you sign the little waiver.. But Evan, I agree with Exie on a lot of this. You must've been a real good guy to start with..

James, I'm really not making light of YOUR particular situation, or hers. I may not completely agree with him all the time, but I really like Satori's way with words. :)--> Honestly though, he makes a lot more sense than most of the religious mumbo jumbo I've been exposed to.

Anybody else see this? This was where one of the advertisement links on this site went..

Yep. ABS paid for that little staff meeting, all the while other staffers couldn't beg, borrow or steal enough to take an AVERAGE trip two states away.. no less get proper authorization to do so. I think this "little" expenditure was at the height of the financial "emergency".
-
Wouldn't suprise me if they travelled non-stop first class.. nothing but the best for the "best" you know..
-
Yeah.. I think it's over ten year ago.. Looks like Donna on the right of loy.. can't miss rosie. ABS paid for that little "staff meeting".
