  1. ExCathedra, Apparently they do "report" each other. This has GOT to be a guy thing....cause I sure as heck don't get any of it. Radar
  2. Yeah sure ExCathie..... Socks is cute enough to stalk.....maybe we can stalk him together....do you think he would notice? :D-->
  3. Wacky, That was the Dave Bedard version of the "Passion of The Christ." ROR
  4. Highway ;)--> I have thought of him often too. He brought many a smile to my face when I knew him at HQ. Kurt...you out there? ROR
  5. Frank Gild is one of the best human beings I have ever known, I ADORED HIM. The last time I saw him, in 1989 he was living in Visalia CA, and was engaged to be married. You might try somewhere in the valley...Hanford, Visalia, etc. happy hunting.....please tell him about Gspot, I would love to reconnect with him. ROR
  6. CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND MRS. LIGHTSIDE :D--> :)--> Are they on Way Pay Lightside? Just as a matter of curiosity. ROR
  7. Rascal :)-->, Wait.....accidental pregnancies were not necessarily terminated. If a couple got pregnant accidentally (without permission or a dispensation from the bot/bod) the couple were more often than not terminated from their TWI paid position/corps status. Radar
  8. Just to make sure we have this right: It was no FULL TIME WAY PAY / Corps Woman under 35 was allowed to get pregnant without permission. For example, if the woman was over 35 and had no children or only one child there could be an "exception." This was strictly a CONTROL/Financial move. If a staff woman (field or staff) DID get pregnant without permission she and her husband were more than likely dismissed from their staff position and dropped from the corps. OF COURSE, they were then fair game for the "twi managers" to trash their names and reputations. What a freaking organization! ROR
  9. The End, I too am very sorry and send you my warmest thoughts and prayers. Email me if you want to....best to you always! Radar
  10. OMG! I wonder if anyone's lawyers would like copies of THOSE letters?????? I just don't understand how twi can sit in there and answer the deposition questions like they have been with all of these kinds of printed, official twi correspondence out there floating around....just waiting to bite them in the butt RADAR
  11. WWW, I don't know how it is done nowadays but when I left hq in 1994 the limb coordinators were responsible to pay for their housing, food, car lease (thru a lease car program) out of their salaries themselves. ROR
  12. The remains being made available to the families...that is a given! It is the only truly CHRISTIAN thing to do. Then, regarding the auction...there was a beautiful stuffed peacock that was at the WCBRIC for years but went back to hq when it the campus was sold. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT PEACOCK. I think there are a couple of other items that have sentimental meaning to me, but that is the one I can think of right now. ROR
  13. I thought I would bring this back up to the top. Tomorrow is the court date for Doug. If it doesn't go in his favor he is going to need a "get out of jail" free card. Everybody keep good thoughts! Radar
  14. Here is one that might not show up in the way rag: On Saturday, January 17, Dee Fischbach (sister of Dorothea Wierwille and former mayor of New Knoxville OH) was laid to rest in New Knoxville. J.P. Wierwille, Sara Wierwille Guigou, Karen Martin, Mary Sommerville and Dorothea Wierwille were all in attendance as well as the immediate family of Dee. TWI was represented by Harvey Platig, Wanda Wierwille and Laurie Wierwille. ROR
  15. Yes the Peeler's do have different resources but they also have another advantage. This case is about FINANCIAL ABUSE not SEXUAL ABUSE. It is much less laden with land mines and just about anyone that ever had anything to do with TWI has some personal knowledge of some sort of (alledged) financial impropriety. CC...even if this lawsuit also ends with an out of court settlement it is one more in a line of them. TWI cannot just continue paying out of court settlements indefinitely. ROR
  16. CC, Doug is a very soft spoken southern country kind of guy. He is honest and "soulful" if that communicates. I am sure that he and the other witnesses will tell the truth from their perspective and the benefit of a jury trial is that real people get to make the decision. ROR
  17. For the record, TWI vs. Doug McMullan goes to a jury trial this coming Thursday, January 22 at 8:30 am at the Shelby County OH courthouse. This is the TWI tresspassing charge against Doug from 2003. Doug is a man who is doing what he believes is right...gotta admire someone that still has the guts to stand up for something he believes in. Radar
  18. JT, The crux of this issue is this: TWI is morally, ethically and spiritually responsible for the care of Mrs. Wierwille. The past and current leadership (BOT/BOD whatever you want to call them) knew and acknowledged that they were to care for her until her death. Now that things have gone to hell in a handbasket they have decided to hide behind the skirts of the IRS, and shirk the responsibility that goes with the "perks" of their jobs. In my opinion, it is not right for the current president of twi to be living in her own home surrounded by the things she is familiar with and loves (including the in-ground swimming pool) while Dorothea Wierwille is housed in a very small and modest nursing home. If they had an ounce of the genuine love of God in their hearts they would have kept her in her own home cared for 24 hours a day by trained medical professionals, even if the bod had to sell some of their personal assets to do so. That is no longer an option, but TWI could have and should have paid for her care in a 24 hour alzheimer's care unit in a nursing home. To my knowledge no member of the Wierwille family has ever "offered" to set up any sort of fund towards the care of their mother, neither have any member of the Wierwille family solicited funds from others regarding the care of their mother. I believe there are a few private individuals not related to the family that have pursued such a fund type of thing. One man in particualr is a man that loves Dorothea and believes that a terrible wrong has been done to her. That is an admirable trait, a man that sees a wrong and wants to right it. It is a moot discussion to think that TWI would ever have made such a fund. For an organization supposedly founded on God's Will, they have neither heart or conscience. 19. Dartanian, Just so you know....not everyone here at Greasespot has continued in the way or belief systems of FUNDAMENTAL CHRISTIANITY. You may believe that there is no deviating from that orthodoxy but there are plenty of others here that believe that fundamental christianity is NOT THE WAY. Radar
  20. (((Daryl))) So glad you can be who you really are. Thank you for bearing your soul. Radar
  21. Rascal, Tom Mitchell is never far from my thoughts when this subject comes up. Thanks for reminding me of a good man faced with something he could not deal with. Radar
  22. ExCathy, No comment or you don't believe in them? I remember (vaguely) being taught in one of the church epistles (either the Tims or the Peters) that the locals believed in predestination of souls. It has always been a question for me. ROR
  23. Goey just posted about something that I have always found interesting, the subject of SOUL MATES. I believe in this.....that each of us has a soul mate, that one person that we are MEANT to be with. Sometimes we don't end up being with that person but we know who they are when we meet them. Perhaps one or the other is married when they meet or the timing is just gawd awful...they meet following the death of a spouse or just before the marriage of one or the other, but their souls were meant to be together. Any comments? Radar
  24. Vickles.... Obviously we did it to BUG THE HECK OUT OF YOU!!! ;)--> ROR
