  2. Andrea, I adored them! The last time I saw them was '88 in Grand Rapids when I visited their home. Sid/Cass/girls, if you are out there or hear about this, let us hear from you. Radar
  3. Mark..... I am dying laughing here! I had entirely forgotten that, gawd.....how did you ever put up with me? Thanks for the laugh...it helps me feel a bit better! :)--> Radar
  4. Cynic! Wait! You have actually seen that happen? An 80 year old woman with boobs? I should be that lucky to still have boobs when I get that old. ROR
  5. I am still cranky and "ill" feeling . Those of you that live in the south will understand that one right quick :D-->. Mike.....I think Paw said DOCTRINAL!!!! Woof Woof. Radar
  6. Let me begin by saying, I don't feel well, as a matter of fact I feel like ..... I have a sore throat, a temp, and all together CRANKY. That said....what is all this about making fun of someone who has trouble spelling? I personally spell fairly well but I can't add worth beans as just about anyone that knows me will attest to. This is a website. The contributors are just that, CONTRIBUTORS. We share thoughts, and ideas and foibles and shortcomings and longsuits with each other. Very few of us that come here are "published writers" or even WANNA BE published writers. To my knowledge not more than a handful of us make our living writing. To make fun of someone, anyone, for poor spelling or grammar says more about the moral integrity of the complainer than it does about the soul of the "poor speller." Radar
  7. Okay....here's one: Speak in Tongues Speak in Tongues Do it every day! Sung to the music of Jingle Bells. Now try and get THAT one out of your head :D--> ROR
  8. Ex, I can't help...but I am laughing so hard I am crying!!!! :D--> :D--> ROR ;)-->

  10. He married Michelle Koclanes and they live in Columbia South Carolina (or thereabouts.) He owns a couple of businesses and they are doing well. You should be able to do a search and find them. ROR
  11. Oh my gosh! I remember her too. Please give her my best and tell her I remember her fondly. Love, Radar
  12. Abi, I know this is not the focus of your question but I have reams of paper, printed material, etc. on the connection between infant/child vaccinations and autism. The staggering amount of research studying the connection between the two is worth anyone's time to review, especially new parents or people considering becoming parents. There is also a proven connection between flu shots and dementia in the elderly. I would be glad to chat with you about this sometime. Love, Radar
  13. Mj, I am not a professional...but my thoughts are that you should follow your heart. As Roy said, test the water....maybe take a leap in, it could be a belly flop but it could be a swan dive. As an exwayfer you have suffered great pain, nothing that happens to you now in this context would be THAT unbearable....and you could find a great path of love and friendship and peace. as they say in Reggae, "Cool Runnings" on the path of peace. Radar :)-->
  14. Keith, I am not offended either. There is room for everyone's opinion here at Greasespot. That said, I maintain my original position. If twi cannot "figure it out" as to how to do the right thing as a corporation, then the responsibility lies firmly on the shoulders of the twi board of directors to "DO THE RIGHT THING," as individuals. Rosalie Rivenbark has enough personal reserves to liquidate some and pay for the care of Mrs. Wierwille in her sunset and final years. Dorothea Kipp Wierwille's family property (The Kipp Farm) was purchased "for a song" by twi and then eventually sold off in the last ten years to defer expenses. (Can anyone say "PAY LEGAL BILLS?") The current twi bod represent themselves ro their followers as "carrying on God's ministry" to the world. Is it wrong for those of us that invested (rightly or wrongly) years of our lives in that ministry to now request them to live up to their own PR? This is simply a matter of doing what is right, what is moral, what is Godly. Radar
  15. I can't believe you all have missed the most obvious!!! Rocky HORROR PICTURE SHOW. If you are looking for me at midnight...you know where I will be with my squirt gun, toilet paper and rice! Radar
  16. Dear Flay, While early2it may have phrased his sentiments in a rough manner, I think he expressed a few people's sentiment quite well. I was wondering EXACTLY why you think that the Ex-Way community has suffered a black-eye today? Because the vice-president of TWI sounds SINCERE???? Of course he sounds sincere, he does believe what he wrote, he is PAID TO BELIEVE WHAT HE WROTE. Not only that, they had 2 weeks, a full word processing department, publications department and paid legal staff to help draft the letter. I don't believe for one minute that Harve is MORE sincere in his belief than JP Wierwille is in his that each of them are each correct respectively. Consider the source. Regarding the placement of Dorothea Wierwille in a nursing home...OF COURSE IT WAS A WELL THOUGHT OUT DECISION. The question is was in well thought out in the light of what was best for her or what was best for twi? Radar
  17. This reminds me of the little game we play. You know the one I am talking about, we take something twi has said and rephrase them to say what TWI REALLY MEANS. This is that in reverse. JP writes a letter that has the true and actual FACTS, and TWI comes back with their typical, devilish, self-serving SPIN. Don't they realize that we can all see right through their PERSONAL INTERPRETATIONof the situation? We spent years at their mercy, reading their letters, living through their mandates and struggling to live with their damnable self-righteousness. I think the Ex-Way community has arrived at an unprecedented day, TWI has chosen to actually come out of their cocoon and put their integrity on the line. They want to debate this issue? GREAT...LET THE DEBATE BEGIN. JP posted his letter and supporting material on HIS OWN website. A local poster here saw it and linked it to Gspot. TWI requested/demanded that this letter from Harve be put on Greasespot. Hey Harve...any reason you don't want this posted on THE WAY'S WEBSITE? You don't want the world to see it maybe? Why not put this on your own site and let us link to it? Radar [This message was edited by Radar O'Reilly on October 25, 2003 at 10:28.]

  19. Deb Gross is one awesome gal!!! I haven't seen her since the mid 90s. She married a 14th corps guy and named Kenny Binckley and moved to TN. I can't remember if it was the Memphis or the Nashville area. Happy Hunting. Radar

  21. OHMIGOSH WHAT AN AWESOME GATHERING. What kinda secret are you all giggling about? Jardinero....you don't look a day older than when we first met. I am sooo happy to see this pix. XXOO Radar

  23. OAK...it isn't a slur -- honest, it is the southwest/California version of "Yankee." It can be derogatory in the same way that Yankee can be, but most often, it is just a mutual term of understanding. I am with you Jardinero...I grew up in Northern California when back in the sixties, Spanish as a second language started in third grade so we could communicate with our classmates. That was WAYYYYY before the vehement backlash against the immigrants (illegal or otherwise) took center stage. We Californians recognize that the Mexicans settled CA a long time before the gringos arrived, we are co-mingled to the max. Radar
  24. Can someone PLEASE help Al find Regina? He has been looking for her for years!!!! Love You Al my pal! :)--> Radar
  25. Back in the Waydale days I was a prolific poster ( ) I spilled my guts out on the forums MANY times a day regarding my thoughts and feelings about TWI, I literally posted thousands of times. After the Allen lawsuit was filed and my name was put on the witness list I had quite a few "conversations" with TWI attorneys (BOO HISS ) as they were preparing for the trial. One time in particular the attorney began reading back to me whole sections of posts I had made regarding all kinds of subjects. Kit is correct, don't write anything here that you don't want to live with for the rest of your life. From my understanding the WayGB had complete notebooks of posts of selected posters. It would not surprise me to learn if we all aren't categorized and cross filed by poster name and topic. I am not saying this to make anybody scared or for them to stop posting. On the contrary, Greasespot is the only thing in the world that keeps TWI "in check" and even remotely on the level. They know that sooner or later, EVERYTHING they do is going to show up here...I kind of think of us as the Ralph Nader of twi. They KNOW WE ARE HERE and they have to tow the line and work their butts off to keep their secrets. Post what you are comfortable posting, tell your story, air your soul, spill your guts, just be aware that WE ARE NOT ALONE. Love, Radar
