The law of believing-NO GOD NEEDED

Hardly. When Jesus told the multitudes "... O Ye of Little Faith" was he condemning them? -

Not at all. No condemnation, just trying to understand with the truth is. Can you answer the question other than "the law of believing is unfounded and has no merit ..."? -
The law of believing-NO GOD NEEDED

So what's *your* answer George? You believe the bible is hogwash, while at the same time offer no answers except the bible is hogwash. What other alternative is there? Consider these verses: Now as a biblical student who believes the bible, I am confronted with these verses and believe them and communicate with folks that it is God's will they are healed, ... that Jesus made it available through his works and sacrifice. It was even available before his sacrifice: But the person, for whatever reason, after hearing the Word, is still sick. That'd mean either the person is not believing or I am not believing or, God and his Word is a lie, no? -
The law of believing-NO GOD NEEDED

Well I do believe one thing; if its a choice between it being God's fault or my believing, I will choose my believing... -
There you go Dan! I have enough oldies icons to last until the return. :)

The answer is simple. There obviously came a point in which it wasn't good for us who left, so we left. I think the vast majority have gotten over it already and have moved on with their lives. Many have gone into offshoots. The folks who are still in twi, find it good for them, and that is ok with me. The is the U.S. of America with freedom of religion. As far as the sour taste goes, if one chooses to focus on that sour taste, that is their choice. Similarly, if one chooses to focus on that good taste, that is their choice.

Balderdash. There wouldn't have been genuine deliverance without genuine Word taught. Genuine deliverance doesn't come from nothingness. And the so-called alleged "manipulative coercive life-dominating principles" seem to be excuses for perpetual victim entitlement.

On the twig level, twi was about that for me most all the time. No pressure. Enjoyment, good fellowship. This wasn't a "groovy Christian" experience; this was my entire time at twig from 1973-1991. If it wasn't like that, I wouldn't have attended and at those times I felt I wanted to take a break from twi, I did. The programs were different... WOW was pressure and so forth, so was the corps, but that was expected and I looked at those situations as challenges. No negative whining.

Jesus said a corrupt tree cannot bring forth good fruit. That is why I know twi-1 wasn't a corrupt tree, because I observed the good fruit. Capiche? Comprenda? I love ya.

It was "pure soft vanilla ice cream" otherwise "the deliverance wouldn't have been there". Ye shall know them by their fruits. Deliverance is deliverance. I keep asking myself why folks hung around twi for so long; and the same answer keeps coming along. ...

Thank you my friend Dan. Lou Rawls was such a good entertainer. I'm gonna miss using his icon.

I never bought the idea that we received deliverance DESPITE twi. Doesn't make too much sense to me. It's like, yesterday I went for soft vanilla ice cream at Carvel and I ate soft vanilla ice cream despite Carvel.

Jean, thanks for sharing. My Mom had a similar experience; she went to twig for a whole year before taking the class. No high pressure sales, and much enjoyment and blessings at twig.

Tonto said they were sold out to a ministry "rather than" the Lord. She can't know that unless she knows the heart of a person and the person's own commitment to the Lord. Only God the searcher of hearts knows. That is why it seems like a condecending and smug statement. Even in twi, one may be intensely committed to both a job and the Lord at the same time, depending on the heart and mindset of the person making the decision.

The law of believing-NO GOD NEEDED

This further proves Johniams point that he didn't teach "all believing equals all receiving", as if when your mind believes *POOF* you automatically receive. There were Godly rules / stipulations / conditions in play. This is the way he taught it and it was taught in the greater context of "how to receive from God" i.e. a Godly not an atheistic context. -

The law of believing-NO GOD NEEDED

He didn't. There were exceptions, the most notable being "what is available"... i.e. "You cannot receive something if it is not available".... -

Blanket putdowns like this, a one-size-fits-all remark should be challenged. Not only because it seems condescending and smug but also because it may be inaccurate. I would challenge it, and say that one may be sold out to a ministry AND sold out to Jesus Christ, all at the same time. Look at what the Word says; You see , one may be a servant of a master (twi) and a servant of the Lord all at the same time. It all depends on the mindset of the one making the decision.

I didn't say it was true nor do I believe it. All I said was that he was/is hated and was thought of as the Antichrist. Don't believe me, check this out : 666

I trow not. I really wish that were true, but any politician especially one with presidential aspirations, will be labelled as anti-Semitic who dares to threaten the continuous flow of $billions from U.S. to Israel.

Dr Wierwille said on numerous occasions "its not what VP Wierwille says, but what does the Word say." He made that quite clear; so simple, that a fool need not err therein.

I think the U.S. is shelling out way way too much over the years. Rampant Big Government Spending is not good for the U.S. taxpayer. Here's an excerpt from the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs:

There are people who hated Ronald Reagan and would compare him to the Antichrist. I worked with one of them. One time, she told me that Reagan was the Antichrist, and she believed it! She said one reason was "because just look at his name, it represents 666". R-O-N-A-L D = 6 W-I-L-S-O-N = 6 R-E-A-G-A-N = 6
