Hey Groucho... Let's not forget the original meaning of the word "minister" used in the scriptures which just means a way of serving.. It was elevated to the "religious" definition much later, and now it has been changed completely from being the "action" of serving (in a certain capacity), to being just a title given to someone but rarely matching what they actually do.. Yeah, minister of finances.. He serves the money well! Hehehe... Ok.. I shouldn't laugh.. It's sad really..

Bliss: The Corps Director at Camp Gunnison though is a completely different position than the one Harve and others have had.. Mr. Bolchalk actually is no more in charge of any Corps than the few trainees and his secretaries at Camp G. And the VP of Camp G is nothing more than the camp "care taker" overseeing just the day to day needs to keep the Camp going and whatever staff it requires. There really is no Corps Director outside of Rosalie now.. Who didn't like the idea of Harve being the Corps Director, and a big reason for his departure. Harve felt that because he was Corps Director he had the privilege to council any and all Corps if there were problems without the need for Rosalie's input. And it happened enough times, of course Harve would report everything "after" the fact, that Rosalie made the change..

True, every evil person in the world has had something going for him. Maybe the god of this world backing them up even.. But what is also true, is that the Bible clearly states there is no power but of God, and the powers that be are allowed to be from God.. Trust me, if God didn't "allow" the devil to be, he wouldn't be! It's as easy as that. Or do some think God is not powerful enough to not "allow" him to reign? Either : A) God allows evil to reign (for a good reason of course) B) God has not enough power to stop the evil from reinging (Why do we we even call him our God then?) C) God is too busy and just isn't priority to stop him (Must be the Deist resting somewhere - Go wake Him up) D) God doesn't know (Umm, again, why do we call Him our God?) Every good thing cometh from the Father above. And the evil that exists, I believe really does serve a purpose for now, and much can be gleaned and learn from it. If not how to do things right, but maybe how NOT to do things wrong! From this I gleaned much from LCM.. A great teacher in what NOT to do.. Maybe had I not learned from him, I'd be just as prideful and egotistical and self-centered/righteous and everything else as he USED to be. (I say used, because I don't know him personally any longer, and everyone CAN change if they so choose)

Hey Belle, THanks for the info... Wow.. Some of those names are really awkward in the position they are.. I mean, so many newbies in the President Cabinet.. I am amazed they watered it down. Used to be only top dogs there, now it looks like a group of department coordinators on staff.. Don't quite get your question about the VP, RC, and TC for the USA.. RC ? Maybe I can't read, which is nothing new, is that Region Coordinator?!? The office the Way of the USA isn't exactly busy so to speak except that the 2 positions I know of, the VP and the TC do 2 different functions.. The VP (Mr. Rupp) is nothing more than a relations man for the BOD to the rest of the Way of The USA.. He'd be in charge of the TC and the TC would do his bidding but really only dealing with the Region and Limb coordinators. THere was always that link in the chain, as Mr. Rupp used to be the assistant to the Trunk when Bill Green was, then Bill Green got the boot because he was much like John Reynolds (a push over for policies) and not strong enough to assert the BOT's demand. John on the other hand will take Rosalies orders, and either get his new "assistant" called the TC to get the Regions to do it, or Rupp will handle it himself for more "serious" matters that the BOT doesn't want the rest of the world to know (Once the TC knows).. Just a name change really of the same positions. The old TC (Mr. Rupp) got his position changed to being named A VP, and the assistant to the TC got renamed to being just the TC.. Now there is no "real" assistant to the TC, outside of secretaries and so on and so forth.. Interesting the removing of "power" from many RCs.... Something must be cooking! Divide and conquer they always say.. More than likely not enough work for those who used to be RCs, so instead of being many Limbs, they are being RCs.. Much like when the "Territories" and "Areas" when TWI was big got dwindled into just having Regions, Limbs, and Branches.. Now, it's dwindling further.... Soon, the Regions will only be was "used" to be called Limbs..

Don't they say that usually people will see their own faults in others first before they recognize their own faults? Maybe that's the case! Wonder if he sees them now?

ACtually John Reynolds was replaced with Jean-Yves as secretary/treasurer due to his many blunders in public speaking and inability to do his job. (There were a number of public Corps meetings correcting his "blunders"). Harve was there prior to that, and he just took Rosalie's spot, at a time when Rosalie was just getting warmed to the idea of being President. (She actually had a good plan in mind, but with all the power she gained, she was talked out of it quickly). Harve then when he took over had a good amount of power, but that quickly changed as Rosalie changed into being sold out on "her way", in which case Harve just became a stumbling block for her with his decisions and not checking everything with her (at first that was allowed, things changed after the first year!). And no. Harve is no where near Camp gunnison.. That's left to the McFadden's mainly and Bolchalks and one last other I can't recall..

Most of the top usually loose their position because of their inability to perform according to their rules. Take the previous Secretary/Treasurer. John Reynol**. He knew nothing about handling the finances, he was terrible at public speaking and made many a big blunders while doing it even during Sunday teachings. So after so many cough ups, they realized he wasn't good at anything but a "yes" man.. Harve was the same way. Only at least a lot more talent. He would speak, stand up for what the BOT was speaking no matter what it was on. Only his big blunder was he constantly would try and do things on his own after he became VP. He thought because of his position, he was entitled to make some big decisions. Umm.. That's a no-no.. Everything he wanted to do had to agree with Rosalie and Rico and Linder's decisions.. The only BOT seat that counts is Rosalie, the rest are just there for looks. Execpt that Rico and Linder both have more room to say what should go on. Actually Linder and Rosalie are probably the top two. Linder is her "secret" adviser. Rico is in the same seat Harvey was in. The problem was that anyone in the other 2 seats kept thinking they were someone! And the real top dogs had to keep telling them, you're not the top, we are the behind the scenes guys who run it all, and you must get approval from us! (In, not so many kind words.) Now granted, Harve actually was allowed a lot more latitude and made some big decisions when he was in, without the top dogs approval. Only, that was their problem with him. Always making big doctrinal statements and giving lee-way (sp?!) to certain people without getting the real BOT's "approval".. And it came to bite them in the arse, because Harve said so and so, but the real guys said so and so.. And to appease the person complaining, they fired his but. Or more nicely said, Harve, while don't you go do this! And Harve being the 'yes' man that he is, said ok! And now.. To make sure it doesn't happen again, because it had 2 times in a row, they demoted the Vice President position to being just a root locale overseer. Rupp, Mittler, and McFadden. 3 nobodys that are basically 'yes' men. Only if they knew Mittler well enough, the real BOT wouldn't have picked him, cause there's someone who will do the same thing Harve did.. Oh well! 3 times a charm they say.

I think that's the problem.. For many, it is just a faith or a belief.. If that is all it comes down to, then you're right, there's nothing to it.. No power, no relationship, nothing, just mental ascent. One person's brain and the others. Just as the Christian scriptures state, "for even the devil believes...". Despite what TWI taught, about believing being the greatest principle in all of life, it isn't.. Who cares what you believe. WHo cares what I believe. God doesn't even judge us (according to the Christian scriptures) according to what we believe. He judges us according to what is in our heart, which of course would determine our believing, however, we can be wrong in our believing yet still right in our heart (as well as vica versa). Many read that by faith we are saved from the Christian scriptures, but honestly the believing,pistis, that it speaks of is more of a heart's trusting, not a mental ascent to believing.. Anyways.. Back to concrete evidence.. Nope, not if it is just about believing.. Nothing.. That is why Paul said in 1 Corinthians 1:2-5 "In coming to you brothers and sisters, I come proclaiming to you the testimony of God not according to excellence of word or of wisdom. For I decided not to know anything among you but Jesus Christ and this one crucified. I come to you in weakness and in much fear and trembling. My word and proclamation are not in persuasive words of human wisdom but by the demonstration of the Spirit and power, so that your faith might not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God!" I would not put my trust in whom I put my trust in, if it were not for the power that I've witnessed. I would not put my life in the hands of the God whom the Christian scriptures talk of, if I didn't know him personally and have a REAL relationship with him. If it was based on wisdom, and mental ascent.. You're right.. It means nothing.. Religion of the world is just that.. Believing without power..

Hey Sudo, Thanks for your input... Yeah, most churches that say they stick to the Bible are fundamentalist groups thinking their doctrine is correct. However, I'm not a part of that either.. I know my doctrine ain't 100% sound. Don't believe it will be till the return. We all see through the dark glass, right? However, I don't agree with Universalism that says anything and everything is ok. Thus the reason I asked the question I did to templelady.. Yup, If I agreed with Mormonism, I'd be Mormon! But I'm not, not a part of any denomination or nondenom, even if they were 100% correct. Or as Rosalie put it when I met with her before leaving TWI, the Way is maybe 80% correct in their doctrine, so why not stay?! Cause it's ran by man, that's why! [err umm, woman!].. Instead of being led by God, and having Jesus as our Head.. So understanding why templelady believes one thing when the Mormon scriptures say something else.. Just a simple question.. Not an attack on her belief.. The Mormon book of Ether says that Jesus is both the Father and the Son.. So, why do many NOT believe that?

I'm really not trying to put Momonism down, as I also think they have some great loving folks, and they certainly have strong families, kudos to that.. Only I feel they are led down the wsrong path as many in Christendom. What's interesting is you say, and I have heard from many Mormons that the Father is not the Son and Jesus is not God the Father.. Yet.. In your very own Mormon scriptures you have Jesus Christ saying, I am both the Father and the Son.. Are the Mormon scriptures incorrect, or what?

Yeah, very weird.. That's the best I can put it.. And I'm not trying to be sarcastic. Mormon doctrine is like visiting the twilight zone.. Your own planet?! Yeah.. Who wants to be God of their own planet? Back to the beginning in Genesis when the devil said, "You can be like God!".. And if you are Mormon, I guess it must be true, eh? Is that what you believe templelady? I mean, I just don't see any truth.. Our God, the one true God. Who is God of all God's the scriptures state, is really only God of this planet according to the Mormons. And we serve the God of this planet, for this unforseen amount of time in probation (as the Mormon scriptures state), and if we fulfill everything, we then get to go be God of our own planet, and well, the God we used to serve, He's just the God of that planet we used to be with and now don't serve Him anymore.. That's what they teach, am I right? Having had many mormon friends and conversing with them, this is what they have said. Since our God was human at one time like us, and went through this same thing we are going through for the same purpose. This is what the Mormon scriptures state, am I right? So, I'm just curious then, since what God our Heavenly Father has said, concerning the resurrection in His written word (as in Corinthians all things shall be put under Him AFTER the resurrections), and the Mormons teach you actually get out from under this once human God like yourself. How can you think that what Mormon's teach and their writings are right? They don't line up. Not a yod or a tittle. It's man made from the beginning to the end. Or do you reject what the Bible states? They don't line up, so it'd be hypocritical to believe both, unless you pick and choose.

HCW, Thanks for the insight into what it used to be.. I wasn't around during that era.. Maybe it would have been a little better. There is nothing but corruption there now. BUt even then, I had a great time on staff with the friends I had.. It was probably the same for you, maybe even better while you were there. BUt it doesn't negate the fact that the top leaders were doing the most ungodly things. But.. Sure puts things in perspective to see where there heart was at least to try and bless the people at first (despite taking other things from them). Now, they jus take. No give at all.. Sad.. So sad... Hey, but it's not to late for us to love one another.

So umm... Do you go along with their view that Jesus Christ and the Devil were brothers? How about their view of being able to rule your own planet if your good? I admit, most LDS families are very close together.. Their defniitly is Unity.. but umm.. At the expense of what? Following their so-called prophets? Don't you ever get the feeling in an LDS church that life is all about themselves. Their church, their views, their ways? My advice, stop following people or groups. Start developing that relationship with Christ and God. The group therapy comes when Christ leads ya to the right folks who just love God and aren't afiliated with businesses (aka man ran churches).

My point.. Get rid of your nouns.. Get into the verbs.. They are much more fun.. Instead of being called a prophet, prophecy.. Instead of being called an evangelist, get out there and share the wonderous message. Instead of being called a pastor, get out there and help heal and feed the people. Instead of being called a church, become the living organism called the Body of Christ. Instead of being called a believer, learn how to trust God more and more in your life every day. Instead of being called a Bishop (episkopos), get busy watching and caring for peoples lives as if they were your own. And Instead of being called a Christian, get busy living as Christ showed. Who loved the "church" so much, that he was willing to give his very life protecting, caring, and saving it.

Churches... You'd really have to qualify what you mean by "churches".... Do you mean the Body of Christ that is the church? Or the different "institutions" called church? I do find that the institutions are nothing more than a business ran by a pastor or group of deacons, and maybe belonging to a denomination or maybe not.. And as any business, rarely has what I'm looking for, since as Belle said, we're all unique people and need unique things. That's where the uniqueness of the genuine Body of Christ comes in handy. ANd yeah, I do find that they do have what I need. If not directly from them, there's usually something God is working through them.. Only thing is, there is no "Body Of Christ" building or institution so if you look for them on the street corner or in the phone book, it's a bit tough. I've found it best to weed through churches and get around town and get to know people, and soon you find out who truly is part of that Body and who just plays in the Christianity business on Sunday.. Services are boring to me.. I see no point in them.. It's the same ol' same ol' over and over and does nothing for me. So we sing.. Great.. Most churches I know sing songs that aren't even directed towards God.. And that's called worship? Yeah.. Singing "I love to tell the story" is worship? Or "Standing on the Promises"! I once went through the ol' blue book, and only found one worship song.. Most churches I've been too don't usually sing the blue book ones though.. Contemporary songs.. I like a couple that are truly great worship songs for me.. As worship isn't an action, it's a hearts direction that is in every breath.. After the songs you got prayer.. I love prayer.. But most prayers in churches aren't from someone's heart to God, but rather another way for someone to get the topic of the service in the meetnig.. ANd then there's the sermon.. Over and over, the same basic topics. The same teachings.. I was bored of it in the Way, I get bored of it in corporate Christianity. How many while in the way went over the PFAL, or the blue book over and over.? Taught it over and over.. That's Christianity in most all churches today.. When for the time ye ought to be teachers, you need to be taught again.. There is nothing new under the sun. And what God had written is not complicated. Granted there are many things that can be researched, but simplicity. Trust as a child.. It really comes that.. Not getting some great big head knowledge of what the Greek and Hebrew words are and how they correspond to these 20 other verses, and how my brain had determined that it must be that God is saying"THIS!"... Nah, he said wake up long ago, get with the Body, fellowship, help one another, grow with another, and follow Him.. The hierachy of church is nothing more than Man's way of controlling people. It wasn't GOd's will then, it isn't God's will now. His will is one body, in unity. Working together. Each one sharing and giving. It's not about the pastor giving a doctrinal expounding of a passage. It's about the Body learning one another's uniqueness and helping one another grow. It's not about listening to how great someone can be at oratory, but rather listening to one another since we all are to submit to one another in love. It's not about them, and it's not about you. It's about God, and He's called us under one head, Jesus Christ, and with that we have communion with one another. Churches of the flesh.. Only has answers for those who do not know (the newbies who come to Christ), or those who have forgotten their relationship with God and turned it into a learning festival. However, in most churches of the flesh, there are some genuine Body of Christ dwellers.. Those I seek out and enjoy fellowship with. And I get plenty of answers from.. 1 Corinthians 14:26 "What is it then, brothers? When you come together, each one of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has another language, has an interpretation. Let all things be done to build each other up." That's how it is.. Each one. Everyone. Sharing. Giving. Bringing their gifts and longsuits to every gathering, and having a great big wonderful time fellowshipping rather than just calling a stagnant meeting a fellowship because it sounds cool.

Healing.. Only thing I can think of is how great and wonderful our God truly is.. I can't say I've ever had anything really really bad as far as health. But the things that I have had, God has taken care of. I trust God to take care of me no matter what and when and where.. Doesn't mean instant healing comes. But I believe if we continue to trust in Him, He'll take care of us. Doesn't mean to wait on Him to heal either.. Curious as to what y'alls thoughts are though on this subject.. A Messianic Jew once read part of their writings (not the Talmud), but it talked about Praising God and tempting God.. But it brought in healing as an example to tempting God.. Something to the effect of if you have an ailment, and just sit around waiting for God to heal you, then you are tempting God.. I never thought of it like that before, but umm ok.. What do y'all think? How could it be, how not?

Yeah, very interesting I must say.... Never expected Jackie to write a book.. I didn't know them when they first became Coordinators. But later in their term, they definitely had changed from being the sweet and innocent, to being the promoters of quite a bit of what the top leaders do.. Although when I was in-residence, it was kind of unique one time Ed Ho... gathered us all together and actually came right and told how he didn't agree with what HQ qas doing on a couple specific points, that he tried to change things, it didn't work out, so he was just going with the flow. But, he wanted us to know that his example is what we all should do, even if we didn't agree.. Umm.. Yeah.. You can tell I didn't take his advice. And I don't think it would be too appropriate on this thread to go into LCM's and Jackie's relationship.. But, needless to say, there was more to his speaking about her than just because... They were probably wonderful believers at first, but corrupt communications can corrupt people. Especially when you get higher up in the ranks.. It really effected them both. But somehow Rosalie caught onto Ed's problems, and moved him out to HQ working in Research. As if he would help.. He taught the Corps Greek, but doesn't know the basics of the language himself. He just recites what he reads, and half of that time he doesn't comprehend it, so then when he tries to expound it completely @#&%^@#.. But now, they got demoted again, this time Branch coordinators but at least still full time. So yeah, writing books while full time.. I think they are rethinking their direction right about now, Wouldn't suprise me to see them gone in another 2 -3 years. But I could be wrong. Ed had lots of disagreements - and rightfully so. The goodness of God always leads us to repentance and a change of heart.. Never too late to see em realize the truth and stick to it!

You realize that a wearable computer comprised of body piecings is totally doable.. In fact, they have wearable computers now.. Just need to figure out that body piercings thing.. (Don't ask me!!) Imagination... Gee... I think it's one of those great gifts of God so that I can go about and just imagine and enjoy life without bounds for at least a couple seconds... Yeah, daydreaming.. and imagining.. No evil.. Just pure peaceful state where everything is just plain 'perfect'.. DOH! That milk got spilled.. Darn, and I was almost believing it too.. :)

I'm just surprised she even asked her coordinator for permission... Heck, when things started going that way, I just didn't let them into my business. What I did, was what I did, what I wanted them to know (and I knew they would approve), I'd tell em.. That way there was no conflict! But then again, it never solved the problem of how legalistic things got.. Especially that 2x2 thing.. Dang, I couldn't even be expected to drive 30 miles down the road to the next town unless I had the covering of a second person! How stupid is that?! Well, I just said I was going up the street when that started... Never mentioning how long that street was! Anyone on staff knows how hard they pressed them into staying close to HQ and litterally wanted to know where you went, when you went.. Things have changed, granted.. But those times sucked!

Love... What an awesome word! If only I could grasp it.. You know, when I was taking the Advanced Class at Indiana campus many years ago., I remembering pondering this very same question and asking GOd, what is really love?! Yeah yeah, the different Greek words phileo, agape, and so on.. But what does it really mean to love. Like to love God? To love your neighbor? The Way's definition really never cut it for me.. I mean, there is like ZERO percent heart in that definition, ' The love of and for God in the renewed mind in manefistation in the household'... Hmm that was the definition right? How can you define love with the word love? Kind of goes against every definition rule I know of.. But krysilis.. Yup.. It think it definitely has its roots there. It isn't really love till you give! Not giving of money necessarily but giving of your heart and life in whatever form and fashion. I mean, the greatest love defined in the Bible was God giving his son to die to redeem us. So there's definitely giving there! I'd have to say, God really has done nothing but given since we were born.. Giving without any desire of receiving back.. That's the definition I worked out many years ago. But one more thought.. Anyone here know Hebrew? I've studied a bit, and I found it more interesting than the Greek. Way so much more.. And anyone studied the Hebrew word for love? 'ahav' ?? One thing you learn about Hebrew is every letter was originally a picture. That was before it developed into the Aramaic script we still have today. Kind of like the egyptian hyroglyphics.. So ahav is an awesome picture.. The root is AB.. A(leph) which is the ox, the might and strength of the oc, the strong one... B(et) is the house... So naturally Ab (some know it as ABBA).. is the strong one of the house.. The Father! Abba, Father?! You're with me? But then comes along one more letter to make up Ahav.. It's Aleph, Hey, Bet.... H(ey). Is so easy for us English speakers.. HEY!! YOU!! HEY!! Look here. HEY!!! That's what it means really.. Look! Look here, pay attention you! Look at the Father! Literally Ahav (love) in Hebrew, meant to show the Father, or to see the Father.. That's why 1 John talks about how your can not love, without knowing the Father.. You have to know him, if you expect to imitate him. And thereby showing him to others, loving them.. That's my reminder every day.. Do I show the Father? Is his heart and love there? God desired mercy and not sacrifice.. Love.. Comes from the heart.. That's the 'Hey' in the heart of the root AB... Notawayfer, SIT did replace a bunch, didn't it? I think if there is anything that differentiates between True Christianity and the religions of this world (including the religious Christianity the world promotes).. It's got to be the relationship we can have with the Creator of this world, which isn't just one WAY! I pray and speak, and well, it doesn't just go into a deep black hole! Hehe.. Course I can't forget that we also have our Lord Jesus who also is with us. As I was reminded this weekend when I went out to go see a live production of the life of our Lord.. "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world". Was he lying or what?! So... He must be, despite how much the Way tried to lessen our Lord's role. They did that because they wanted to take his role. Chris isn't on this earth to lead the church, instead his ministers and Way leaders take his place.. Good God, what idolatry! Hey grand-daughter... You are very right, as TWI and what they do does live on through many splinter groups. I used to think they were pretty unique.. Well, I think most people did that stayed for any long amount of time (for me only 10years).. But it's sad to find out that the Body of Christ being destroyed left and right by groups all over.. Only it doesn't just stick with groups that splintered from The Way either.. It splinters from back in the first century when men decided they wanted to run things rather than allowing God to. Ever since then, you have men ruling over men and little care is given to those they step on to do it. What one has to understand is how God really designed this here Church that you are a part of. There's no membership. No monthy dues (Or weekly ABS) required. No.. Nothing like that at all.. Christ came that we would have a way to be reconciled back to our Heavenly Father. He died that we would be brought back together as one big family. As ONE! That was his desire more than anything. That was God's desire since the foundation. Oneness. Husband and Wife.. They aren't married after the resurrection. Why? Cause it is a sign for now of what God desires. Not then. The closeness. The likemindedness. The love one has for another. Not the, I trump you, and I'm in charge. God doesn't even do that, instead He gives us the choice! That's why adultry and divorce is so much an abomination with Him. You ruin the sign that God deisgned! Once Christ laid down his life, God raised Him up as He promised. He set Him on high, gave him power over all. ANd now Christ is in charge.. NOW. Not later, NOW. He is in charge of His Church, His soon to be bride. He is THE HEAD! Christ. So all these denominations and groups that promote any other headship is promoting idolatry. And anytime you replace that Head that God placed, you begin to be led by someone other than God and His ordained (Christ = 'annointed') Son.. Men are great. But we are humans, we make mistakes, and none are perfect, except our Lord. That's why we aren't the head. That's why all we are is to submit to one another, help one another, be there for one another, and grow with one another. One day, one is able to lead, the next day another. There's no positions in the church. Only fellowship.. We all are called to function in that fellowship. In that body. To give and help nurture and grow one another. To reprove and correct one another. None of thise I'm in charge, I'm the leader, Respect me because I said so! No, respect is earned and that's because of their functioning! Not their freakin idiotic title. Way Corps, Advanced Class, Revened. Who gives a freakin care?! You shouldn't. That's man made bull. That's not of God. God gave some to BE.. To BE in the sense that they are doing. They are doing the works of a teacher, a prophet or so on.. That doesn't make them your head. One day one teaches, the next day someone else might have what needs to be taught. We all are called to function. Some are just better than other s at some things. BUt that also doesn't make them YOUR HEAD!! Christ is. None other (less your married, then it's your husband). We all are called to lead and teach and help. No pyramid structure here. Christ told his disciples so. 'The Gentiles', He said, 'Lord it over one another, but let it not be so among you'.. Lord it over isn't just in a negative since. it's in all senses.. They aren't your LORD! Christ is our LORD. We are brothers and sisters. Nothing more.. No heads, no leadership.. Only those who lead by example. Those who give cause there is a need, not cause someone wants some high dollar cameras to produce a class! Those who organize things cause they desire to help.. Those that heal (pastors) because they have a genuine love for one another.. No.. Nothing about the worldly church. The Way is just another of them.. Men and women fighting over who is in charge. Trying to be 'The ONE'.. News Flash: The ONE already came and died and is waiting for us to let him be our head! Do I just ramble all the time? Maybe.... Sorry... Ok... I'm gone..

Thanks for the welcome guys! It sure means a lot. krysilis, I'll take a donut if you got one.. Strawberry filled! Yum! Yeah, it's really scary to think of all the sex stuff that goes on to this day.. I'll be honest though, I really never knew there was a problem. Didn't have a clue! The only time I knew of a problem was the Rock that was mentioned concerning the kids and their rampant sexuality in the 90s.. Maybe 94?! But leadership?! Didn't know till I prayed to God that LCM would be removed from being able to teach the ministry. That was what I asked for, that's what I got. Y'all may not believe me and maybe some say coincidence, but this is what happened.. I was in-residence training.. Martindale was teaching some strange doctrines during Corps morning that was just for the in-residence and it didn't line up at all. And after going to my leadership I found out that they didn't care, cause whatever he said, they believed. My Corps brothers and sisters all went along with it too. And I'm just like this has got to stop! So.. The next corps morning. They start with announcements, and here I am just thinking how screwed up things are with his teaching, so.. I ask God. I said, 'God, he's teaching unbiblical things every time he teaches us.. Please stop him!'. And wouldn't you know, the next accouncement came, LCM would not be teaching the in-residence separately any more.. Wow! I'm like.. Was that you God?! oK.. So now we only had every other week the normal Corps Morning. And same thing.. Within a month I start to see weird teachings crop in that.. So there ya go, I start praying again that morning, "Please stop him!".. And wouldn't ya know, that morning, it was announced, He will no longer be teaching the Corps due to his schedule, instead others would fill in.. Hmmm. Ok... This prayer thing works! Hehe.. (Truly I believed long before this..).. About a month later goes on and well, the lies start coming into the Sunday Teaching services LCM was teaching.. Well. You guys can just guess what I did.. Only this time, a few weeks to a month went by and it was announced, LCM will no longer be teaching the Sunday Teaching Services either.. Gee.. really? Hmm.. This was around December of what 1999?! And about 4 months later in April, we all know what came out.. Yeah, that was the first I ever knew of sex problems and his adultry.. Course after that, came all the fallout, the attempted coverups, and what have you.. Well.. I was just glad he wasn't teaching wrong doctrine and hoped Rosalie could change it.. Boy was I in for a surprise.. Things changed quickly though from the fear to the love.. But it was clear it was all man made cover.. And nothing was genuine.. I waited .. waited.. tried to discuss it, bring things up, but everything was knocked down.. And now years later, there's still no change. And people are still waiting.. Only, for most on the field, that wasn't at a root locale, you'd never really see much of the treachery and corruption.. Honestly, the home fellowship was a kind place if you had a good honest coordinator.. (Albeit, I think there are many issues that make the twigs/fellowships pointless). Most of the weird doctrines never make it out of the Corps household. Although you can be assured they swim around their brains, those who leave them wide open that is for whatever the Way teaches.. Bereans! RIghtly dividing and studying, right? Umm. Yeah sure.. Only that's great and all. Studying that is.. Knowing the scriptures and all.. BUt honestly, does it make a hill of beans if you don't have that relationship with your head? And I don't mean some ministry leadership that tries to be your head. I mean Jesus, YOUR LORD! And if you ain't got a relationship with God, what good is all that head knowledge? Gee, so 4 were crucified with Christ. And that will help when I talk to my Heavenly Father? What I pray to him, Oh yeah.. GOd, since I know that 4 were crucified, your going to listen to me, right? Gee.. Thanks! Don't get me wrong, wrong doctrine does effect us.. It's important to know the truth.. But well, y'all know.. God comes first.. And that's the problem in the Way.. EVeryone left there thinks everything they do their is putting God first.. Yup.. If I read my Bible, I'm putting God first. If I listen to the STS, I'm putting God first. I go to the Way Mag, I'm putting God first. If I clean the toilets for a class, I'm putting God first.. And anything done for the ministry is done for God, so I owe my life to the ministry, err I mean God! Good thing is that God looks at our hearts.. All those things we did unknowglingly, God knew if we were doing it for Him, and will reward us accordingly.. And those who screw lives up there day in and day out because of their fear to lose position or lose members or because their quest for power, well, God knows.. Vengance is His.. AND HE SHALL REPAY! Hey.. But if there are donuts available.. Maybe I should stuff my mouth rather than going on and on...
