Speaking of boys & girls, can anyone give me an idea of a breakdown here at GS?? What % of registered ex-twi folks are male vs. female? The reason I’m asking is, from the history of all that’s been posted, who has basically handled the emotional separation better (or worse)? Who are more likely to move on with less difficulties? Is sex a deciding factor in cult perception or awareness? In your corps marriages, who picked up on the dysfunctional aspects first? Throughout the process leading to GS, which gender is more likely to be bitter, angry, unforgiving, philosophical, dumbfounded or none of the above, (attitudes)? I might be wrong but I sense many more female participants than male? And the women definitely seem to stick closer together. Is that because VP & leadership in general was male and therefore the (sexual victim) was female? Did females in twi “bond” in the face of this male enemy predator? Men obviously lost out in other ways... What if VP & leadership had been female, like today? Would the whole affair have come out differently? Any Ideas??

Actually Catcup as per my pm, the woman in the picture is not even fat. There wasn't enough to eat during the time it was painted to even imagine such a luxury! "Boese" is literally "angry". Business as usual in today’s corporate world of M&A take overs, no? Buy out the “competition”, consolidate, and cut costs. Repackage the product with new “management” and go public. Follow the $$ and there should be few surprises. Follow your emotions, and you’re toast!

~Ex~ A sunny Bonjour de Beaune! Please don’t you girls jump on Bump for a little poetic verse. Deep down in the cellars of GS postings are the dead and the departed, as well as some who still remain posting to this day. (& probably until the end of time!) We all had our conversations in twi time past, some good some bad. No one has a monopoly on pain or privilege, whether as a member of a cult or not. When you uncover those dust covered boxes collecting time, and open them, I think you will find sentiments are similar. The girl whose posting I quoted was just one of many I could have used. Her refrain I thought was most interesting in the last two sentences. When do people reach “closure”? If God is really at the center of your life, does he have a plan for the time still remaining? BitterSweet the memories of time gone by but maybe it’s time to dry the tears before we die? <_<

Page 2 in the GS news, reads like the thread which is not quite dead? Today weddings, tomorrow another posting. Maybe time to go back to a weenie roasting? When does the Lord get bored of our condemnation & boasting?
