it is diificult to be on the same page here. but I think imbus and kry and I are getting there. the wife beater or krys example of a leader who is angry is one who may have issues granted clearly. my point is to consider the fact those being beat or yelled at by a leader does NOT get angry at the fact they are being abused as a human. this is as much if not a more serious problem. it is ok to say to somone NO I do not agree and have mutual respect , it is healthy and what is a given in any event.. yet some do not they use all types of measure and denials and escape to say well I just could not you know he was a leader or she.. or well most of the time he will not slap me or insult me so it is ok... type of statement... this is also a very serious mode of thinking yet allows for a victim metality that repeats and actualy calls upon the very behaviours they seek relieve from. it is attention seeking behaviour that can controll another. I do not get beat I do not get yelled at without somone being told it is not an accpetable behaviour and to stop and they must or eles any number of consequence will follow. why do some endure or seek angry people in their life? why do some people get so much more disturbed by somone eles angry feelings that they react to it themselves?

It took me many years to realize anger is a worthless emotion... NOT !!!! anger can be a very very constructive tool to motivate change in our life, somtimes it is the only means of survival in an overwhelming situation that demands action be taken. anger is not wrong nor is stress wrong both these facets of life add a great deal of wellness and wholeness to a person. it is ok and right to be angry . co-dependents , cult mind sets, and children of alcohol addicted parents learn very deep that angry feeling are bad and not allowed in our society. so they pretend and live in the illusion that injustice and pain are not to be felt. the outcome is worse a much much more self destructive life style of denial and abuse is generated with out a vioce that can say I am hurt I am angry the self is destoyed or never allowed to live at all. At GS we have personalities and some writers appear more "macho" or agressive than others or louder with a screaming vioce if you will!! others who have been taught it is not ok , feel threatened by the fact somone is allowed what they themselves cant allow or "do". We are taught to care take for another person emotion this is wrong wrong wrong! we hve been taught it is our responsiblity to control and be responsible for another reaction to our feelings and choices in life, TRUTH IS each individual is only responsible for their own emotion and another has little or NOTHING to say about how they honestly feel. If you love somone you love them ,does the fact they may not feel the same way really make it go away? if you feel angry you feel angry and it belongs to YOU to mix in cause and effect has little ability to change or control what only the individual can. If you take on the responsibility in life to controll how another may feel YOU have a big problem in life, because it is truly impossible and a lie that will hurt you . emotions are real and needed to live a great and wonderful life to be able to express and state how we honestly feel about situation allows us freedom in life. The freedom to have genuine honest sharing of who we are. the cult may have shut down your awareness of feeling numbness to pain is common in many types of disfunctional setting and is a learned behaviour that stifles life itself. some are very protective of this site and that may be a genuine love thing going on .... their points are so important because they love the people involved and want to protect... that is not anger that is love . true love is a powerful force and we express it with a urgency that frightens sometimes do we not? control issues , bullys are addressed I think very well on GS. being angry is ok. disagreements are ok , if a poster has a genuine problem with how someone expresses their angry feeling like personl attacks etc. on GS pawtuckets has clearly made it known he will address the concerns. but if a person feels a need to control how another feels I really encourage you look at why somone eles emotion or expression effects YOUR life and being so much , it should not we are allowed to be who we are and it is ok .

I have heard we are a long way away from eye transplant but maybe they can put in new parts or make a part soon. I hope so if that is what you want . I have known people who do not want to hear or see as they have learned life as a deaf or unsighted person , yet it sounds as if this has been a degrading of sight situation for you and your wife and you feel you would like to be able to have this sense . have you learned to live without the posible healing in any way ? many places help with the adjustment and offer many fabulous tools to help with tasks . this may help with the stress of the condition while helping you to be as successful as possible until a cure is found somhow someway.

healing and God. I believe God does heal and I believe in miricles. that being said I do not believe the healing are on terms we can understand . I can not look at the promise of the bible and make it a contract of faith as some christians do. I think God has purpose and reason and rhyme and rules and a process of recovery from sin. I can not take my new born baby and put him in the driver seat of my car and demand he get a job and live a wonderful life... life is a process... a path a river... illness or injury is sin.. sin is not something a person has to do it can just be sin that is on earth . Removing sin from life is a life changing process and we think we are what life gives us... or what the dr. may say is truth. we have litle choice for the most part because sin is a powerful thing on this earth and God almighty often sadly is not . some day this will not be a factor and everyone will be much healthier and less injured . I have had years of my life with folks who can just barely blink their eyes unable to move and fed through a tube,it is documented they have a mind capable of zero to little thought process, brain injurys etc. Yet inside the soul I have often seen a communication a vioce a reason a purpose to be alive and have life. and the soul shines and shines we call it the personality ... how can this be so? but it is and I smile with the knowing of it. How can someone who has spent thirty years learning to count to twenty in the right order to receive a paper gold star as the reward, that is put on the wall at the house she shares with thirty others that may be even less capable of such a achievment? She does not think she needs to be healed at all . healing is a complex subject and when we throw God in the mix I think we forget the purpose of man or God and begin demanding life be the way we dictate it should be. I think if we need to think about God and healing we need to think about sin and healing just as strongly and both subjects are very personal and deep and abiding and may take more than a life time on earth to learn. I do not think God wants us to suffer, but I also know some vessals are used for reason that we may not consider positive or good or right... Yet God is in it. I do not think God inflicts anyone with pain or disease but I know from the depth of my heart it can not and will not Stop Him from achieving HIS purpose in their life if such is involved.

I also have seen a very large amount of abuse in the name of state care... it is not just children it is the disabled as well housed and fed worse than animals for a life time. behaviours I am trained to modify behaviours YET as I may not have to tell you it is not a thinking game . people do not get it they really do not they cry and scream abuse yet never realize the type of life some of these folks have lived from birth and now a good or bad foster home is suppose to stop all the evil ingrained and learned? open your doors to "children" who have learned to cope the only way possible or have a yet undiagnosed mental or personality disorder go to a day treatment center for the handicapped that is state funded and volunteer. then scream about how to save the world for the rest of us. and do it while pleasing the taxpayers and keeping a budget . my point? yes they should not abuse and they got caught but the system we have is geared towards "keeping the family together" that is the purpose and agenda so by the time a child is released from a system they are 18 years old and probably having children to try to make the family they never had and it starts all over again with another generation. who eles would do it? sure many claim they would and could be better YET they are not in the trenches of real life with the system or these real live people and their behaviours. I have no solution , I have done my best as have many others to make changes in a very complex and sorry state of affairs. they are wards of the state , think about that just for a moment , it feels good to say you care and want to do something and scream injustice to those who can hear the cry and screams of many generations of abuse and just horid circumstances . Yet that cry you feel in your bones for the victims has been controlled and fed and housed and the responsibility of "the state" "the people" like a massive invisable butch that claims to want action done when the news flash of the story may appear, yet in the day to day and often life time to life time care "the system" can in reality do nothing at all to help these souls. In reality neither can anyone eles. If you feel Im wrong and bitter and whatever judgement has you ready to attack then I thank God for that and say use that energy that passion and be the one who can and does try to help . My son wants to move out of the state anna . he was a horrible son for many years , rotten and scary . I threw his butt on the street , because of my beliefs ( and had sorrow and heart aches through it all ) I often doubted what I stood on as truth then. today as I honestly wince at the very thought of him not working and living in the same town as I so I can see his handsome face and smile to brighten my day ... you can not!I told him (in jest of course he is all grown up now ) he said. I can not stop what is right for my life and what I believe for what people think even family mom you never did !!! I smiled one of those inward smiles knowing it was worth it . and said I will miss you . then he said well move to georgia with me!!! man love works and the lesson we can help others learn along the way bring an eternal butch of rewards I say. if you would have seen this kid at seventeen running drugs turn into a handsome respectable man with priorities and a heart full of love like I have you may never doubt a God is in heaven , I know I wont. all we had was prayer and it my opinon it is the only thing that turned his life around to be able to give something back to this world that is good and positive. a miricle life it is, god changes us from vile horrible creatures to ambassadors of His LOVE, and change is often very very good!

60 minutes had a program on the evil of a staton drug called Cetor.... or something to that spelling. a man 75 years of age was in the hospital for complete kidney failure due to this drug once off the drug his kidney began working and functioning well . the hospital admits the problem was due to a side efffect of the staton drug... the report says the FDA was well aware of the number of very serious side effects in this drug and actual deaths caused by this drug YET the company was able to get the drug approved by lowering the amount of the drug in the prescription with OUT any further testing on the drug!!!! read agin no more test where demanded for the smaller dosage although it was well documented to have very serious and numerous side effects... !!!! it is proving itself to be just as deadly in smaller amounts as the amount that failed FDA approval !!!!!!! what the hell is this mess???

WW. Eucrin makes several products for several differnt skin problems, some have a sun factor that will rip my skin apart . others have a ingredient that will help descale your scale , not what some may need for their dry skin. It has a "sensitive skin" line that says sensitive skin on the label that does not have any other chemicals to annoy irrated skin . It does look like crisco but after a while you skin may feel better it helps me I use it on my face and Im outside for ten to twelve hours a day . it is expensive but worth it because once you get all under control then just use it once a day or so and it will keep your skin in balance. this is what my childrens dr. prescribed for excema when they were infants . also do not bath alot or have alot of water on your skin it does actualy dry the skin worse when the air hits the wet skin it pulls any water you may have in your skin as well so dry quick and put on eucrin immedietly to help keep the moisture inside.

dmiller that is the truth. I often do not know how strongly I feel "inside" about anything untill Im up against it and facing in very practical terms what it may mean for my life. I know I want to think many things but it just does not seem to play out in that manner in real life. as far as twi.. deep inside Im not angry Im thankful . Because in life I have learned what regrets are to me...often ignorance or unability to know all of the story or facts. it has stuck with me like you Roy I wonder how much I carry and how it will and does play out in my life now .. but I do not know really because I never not had the experience of it.. I agree with cwester about the drugs. that being said I also realize people often are at the mercy of their doctors and need to do what they think will "help" them. I have relatives who almost waiting for me to drop dead cause i do not "take care of myself" by going to the doctors twice a month or for every time Ifeel pain or not well. I had an ear infection I treated it with herbs and it took about a month for it to go away and I was in pain, andother relative goes to the dr. upon theonset of pain they treat him with anitbiotics every single time , he gets better adter 14 days and it comes back within a couple of months, for three YEARS a cycle of dependency . mine has not returned his has cost the insurance thousands of dollars for testing of the bacteria and etc... and he keeps gettin it back. I do not know but my sister went off the staton drugs due to side effects but she is on a very very strict diet and still is told she has high bad levels. I flatly refuse to do it . somhow I truly believe it isnt going to be a level of a chemical in my blood that will kill me, but maybe my relatives who know how to run my life better than I who shorten my life by a few decades anyway. they know the problems with these drugs it has been a long history of some very serious complication then why do they keep promoting them? Is the good they do really better? or is it because they can measure the amount of it in your blood and say they did one thing right and it must be working in a good and positive way? IM not sure and frankly I do notthink they are either. about the dry skin : oatmeal baths may help calm it down and also eucrin brand products are very very good for dry skin. for sensitive skin.

What shocked me was the lack of money or stable income some of the families leaders way corps and the clergy had and the manner they would risk the health and fail to provide a stable home or community for their families. My first twig leader while I took the class had a bitter divorce and two miserable teens who where forced to move far away from their father to live in the new area ,the new hubby was now corps and of course worked as a "contractor" of some sorts. they had a rented town house and wanted more children although of course she was not working they had little money. no insurance. children from a broken home where is the family harmony in that? the very last fellowship I attended was another family the husband had quit his well paying job to be able to go to run fellowship and take classes ,so she was working two or three jobs wanting everyone to baby sit their children for free of course. broken down unsafe cars traveling with babies in them... buying airplane tickets and taking classes across the nation and asking the state to provide medical expenses for their children. the bible clearly states a man should provide for his household and many clearly struggled with this while in the way. The only clue that survived for more than 2,700 years is an inscription discovered in 1880 on a tunnel wall that supported the link to King Hezekiah, although it did not name him specifically, reports The Associated Press. Now geologists from the Cave Research Center at Hebrew University in Jerusalem think they have solved the mystery. By using radiocarbon testing to analyze the age of stalactite samples from the ceiling of the Siloam Tunnel and plant material recovered from its plaster floor, the biblical record and the tunnel's age have been confirmed, the researchers wrote in the journal Nature. The Siloam Tunnel is the one built by King Hezekiah. This is also significant because it is the first time that a well-identified biblical structure has been subjected to extensive radiocarbon dating. Even with all our modern-day technology and scientific knowledge, very little testing of biblical structures has been done to prove or disprove their age or authenticity. Why? The experts told AP such testing is difficult because it's often hard to identify such structures, they may be poorly preserved, or they may be restricted for various political or religious reasons. Tomb Found: Father of John the Baptist? Standing 60 feet high, the funerary monument was likely constructed around the time of Jesus for the aristocracy of Jerusalem. Located in the Kidron Valley between Jerusalem's Old City and the Mount of Olives, it has long been in plain view. What hasn't been easily visible is the worn inscription on it. The Associated Press reports that thanks to the light of the setting sun that hit the ancient tomb at just the right angle, the 47 Greek letters inscribed in the stone that went unnoticed for centuries suddenly came to life: "This is the tomb of Zachariah, martyr, very pious priest, father of John." That would be John as in John the Baptist. Bible lesson: Zachariah was an old man who burned incense in the temple one day and was told by an angel that his elderly wife, Elizabeth, was pregnant and would bear a son. That son grew up to become John the Baptist, the man who baptized Jesus Christ. AP notes that the Jewish historian Josephus writes that a priest named Zachariah was slain by Zealots in the temple, and his body was tossed into the Kidron Valley below. If that is true, it explains why the word "martyr" is in the inscription. Scholars do not believe that Zachariah is buried in this tomb. But the inscription does give a unique insight into the local lore surrounding the early figures of the Christian church--and how the words came to be there. Byzantine Christians most likely added the inscription to the tomb several hundred years after Zachariah's death and after the tomb's construction. Why? It was common for this group of Christians in the 4th and 5th centuries to mark sites that they believed were linked to the Bible's main characters. For example, the site where Jesus was crucified and buried was selected by Helena, the mother of the Emperor Constantine. In that place the Church of the Holy Sepulchre now stands. "We actually have contact with ancient history through Byzantine Christians," Jim Strange, a New Testament scholar at the University of South Florida, explained to AP. AP notes that the inscription suggests 5th-century Christians believed Zachariah was buried at the site of the tomb. I like the idea of a "new" life better. I like the idea of a new beter more improved body to live in . Also your points were written by me several pages ago about the fornication issues in twi. I do get the fact intimidation was used in twi and as i said intimidation and insult are used in this very thread . yes it is a bad thing when that happens . ok we agree and your just saying what I said about 7 pages ago. again clarify , I agree people went wow that did not realize some of the doctrine twi taught and had to learn it far away from home in financial straits under pressure and often was forced to leave the field due to circumstances that they may not see coming due to ignorance about twi or what it taught.
