There are many posters who no longer come here because of the Spelling/Grammar nazi's. I for one have been corrected more times than I can remember. It kills the heart of people who do not do well in that area. I guarantee those same poor spellers run circles around some of our more perfect spelling/grammar experts in other areas. And yet I would bet they won't (and I know for a fact they haven't) shove there areas of expertise in the faces of those without it.....yet it seems that spelling and grammar are easy targets here...

I don't think that those capable of good grammar and spelling care about it as much as that same group would have cared 50 years ago. I think the teachers try, but if the students don't really care--well

Belle, I don't think it "a getting back to" so much as looking forward to, an awakening to, a new discovery.... We really are not the same people we were, we are wiser, some more sensitive, some more cynical, but not the same. Slowing down and thinking about what we think about, like to think about and don't want to think about - very meta -- I know....but this is what and who we are...and this is where we decide where we want to go.

Very Cool. My dad learned from one of the original 99 and my mom and brother both fly..I guess I need to think about this too some day... When I was little I got to "steer" around clouds, we had a Piper Apache Cub..twin engine. Planes are a gas!

I am happily married too, but I wonder about the volume of choice here...we have dwindled quite a bit since the beginnings.

With impressionable minds, I have to be careful which "cop/murder" shows I watch..around these offsprings. But i watch csi once in a while.

Free - I have no clue about the drama--i'm not here enough I guess--but I am sorry to hear the news. If I could attempt encouragement -- it's this, my friend of 7 years has MS, she is still driving and working for an Insurance Agent. she has stopped sweating, consequently New Mexico summers are more the challenging, she had a little disorientation a few years ago but chages in meds cleared that up. I do know simplifying ones life can reap great results. She has done this too, she has picked and chosen carefully what she will be involved in, over the years and she does have a husband and 2 high school students. I hope you find the peace that you are working for and making decisions about. washingtonweather

My son has a friend who can (doesn't do this regularly-but has the knowledge to) hack into any desktop if he wants...it works on the same language code.. for your sake, I hope it has a firewall of some kind.
