  1. Socks...Vince Gill.... ooooooo.... Vince.... my favourite... i know i mentioned I wasn't much of a country fan... but Vince... well... he's not country to me....like you said... i feel the same... he's a blues player of sorts.I'm posting one of my all time favourites... this song is about his dad and he wrote it after his dad had passed away... still brings a tear.
  2. socks... um..... don't know who they are or who he is... but he's doing a pretty good job of vince gill's song ... which i believe is a pretty hard act to follow. not alot of men have the high range that Vince has. I was but a young 14 yr old...and had NO CLUE who the song was by 'til quite a few years later. Thanks for the memories.. was this from the video recently released of his 1971 performance at Massey Hall in Toronto Ontario???

  12. Socks, thank you very much for your thoughts. Things are good and returning to normal. Everyone's thoughts and input has helped me tremendously put things in the right place and sort my thoughts. You are all a wonderful and soulful. glad i'm here. xoxo
  13. TO EVERYONE WHO HAS POSTED HERE ON THIS THREAD: I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for pouring your thoughts, your soul, your heart into these posts. Your input has helped me tremendously to see the darkness, the evil intent in which this thinking stems from. I remember when I first came here to GS, listening to an audio sharing that was posted somewhere in the documents part of this site. It was one that D. Martind*le shared when a certain ex-cabinet member's daughter had died in an accident. She shared that the father having left twi, was the reason for this child's death. ONLY someone with Cult Thinking could make sense of that. Like Doojable shared, 'God needs another rose petal in heaven' teaching is outshined by this type of judgment and thinking. Krys, your words are beautiful and heartfelt. I too sometimes beg forgiveness for my way of thinking and especially the harshness in which I used to treat people. Thank you again everyone. All of your words have helped me tremendously.
  14. To everyone, Thank you for the comments and condolences. I didn't want to make the recent death the subject here but rather the thinking that TWI bred. Thanks for the comments... keep it coming!!!! I agree with you all!
  15. Does anyone remember being taught in TWI that the word promises a 'peaceful death'? and if so.... where is it 'da word? and if so... what about those who don't die a peaceful death? is it a reflection of that person?

  21. I'm afraid you've avoided more than JUST "that" kind of thinking Mike. oh and goey.. to answer your question(s)... YES... it is possible... but that means that there are a whole lot of story makers and liars around who JUST happen to have the same kind of stories and personal experiences to tell about that same person. What are the chances?
  22. all of those people are potential candidates for the 'WHAT NOT TO WEAR' program.... Stacey and Clinton would eat them alive!! Those brown skirts for one... OMG.... those skirts are designed to make women look absolutely hideous. Bad enough they're standing on a stage where some of the most insane and hideous doctrine is spoken... I guess they want all of them to look the part!! I actually can't look at those outfits very long without my stomach turning itself into one solid knot. Those skirts are a pleasant 'cow sh!t brown'. Maybe their trying to get the 'corn field' feeling happening. and pasty ... those people look sooooo pasty like they haven't seen the light of day for I don't know how long. The movie 'PLEASANTVILLE' ... keeps coming to mind. (except their 'KNOXVILLE' ain't so pleasant... well come to think about it, neither was 'PLEASANTVILLE'). I'm repulsed.
  23. Ahhhh... of course... ME FORGOTS!!!! Strangeone.. sooooo nice to see you again!!! you have been missed...
  24. Hey... Sir Argyle, How you be??? Another year older... congrats Been thinking about you lately and thinking that I should share this little clip with you. Happy Happy Happy Belated Birthday to you and your daughter! http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...nelID=158727699
