TWI was great

T-bone, I also figured CK was making another sweeping generalization about people thinking and how awful bad that is, but it's really comical that he directed it at you considering what he's revealed of his character and inability to weight facts, and the fact his posts are almost unreadable, which is so totally not your fault. it's easy to make mistakes about what he's trying to say, the only thing you can count on it seems is that it will be hateful.

See this is what I am having a problem with, compared to the amount of people here at GS. There are people who actually learned from TWI. How can you explain that, see there are more people who had good yet wonderful experiences at TWI. Then those who say people did this, that, and the other. So trying to wrap my mind around these false accusations. The truth here has been clouded for a very long time. Lets think abou the facts. The last thing I heard of the old days is that TWI blessed over a Million people, but only 1,954 people are here at GS. Lets say out of that 90% didn't like TWI that means about 1,750 didn't like it. To that same million this is a small percentage of people. That means a percentage less than 1 didn't like TWI, we are talking .00175 who didn't like the TWI. So keep telling yourself you are right maybe one day you can get 1 percent.

CK,

I don't mean to say you're stupid or anything, but you'd be hard pressed, after scouring the country or the world, to find a million people who remember ever HEARING of TWI, much less getting blessed by it. Let's be clear: it's a ....ant wannabe religion that never, ever got the kind of traction it pretended to get. AND, let's not forget that the majority of people who ever got involved in TWI are now OUT, including (brace yourself) YOU!

So if you really want to sing its praises, I'm sure you're still welcome at TWI. Don't let the abuse hit you on your way in.

ck and twi. Perfect together.

twi habitually inflated numbers. I found that out coming back from my wow year when big top announcements were made about how many people had been blessed.

the twi "truth" was that marriages were saved and people were delivered by the class, but the real truth was that the same people who's supposed deliverance was used to pad the numbers had turned their backs in disgust or disillusionment. of the many people who took the class and came to twig, not one in our city decided to hang with twi. yet, twi decided they'd been blessed.

"blessed" is a relative term.

What you're having a problem with – is using your brain - compared to the amount of normal people that come to GSC. You see, normal people actually learned many things from their TWI experiences. And that's referring to both the good and bad experiences – because that's the way life is – that's reality. Normal people experience successes, failures, happiness, sadness, tragedy, friendships, betrayals, etc. throughout their entire lives! Smart people learn from their experiences and move on – they don't live in the past. They are strong people too – who muster up the strength to deal with any harm from the bad experiences – for healing, understanding and growth – to CONTINUE on life's journey.

And most GSC folks don't live in some delusion where all is right with TWI world – or ever was. I certainly don't need YOU to re-interpret MY experience for me through your ruse-colored-glasses. You don't need to wrap your mind around anyone else's experiences – since that would only cloud the real issue – TWI has its bs wrapped around your head! Yes, CK – let's think about the facts, as you put it [except I corrected your grammar and spelling]: You have 351 posts and have been a GSC member since February 18 2006. That's a little after I joined GSC…Where were you in 1984? Here's where I was - fact: September 14, 1984 VPW showed a porn video to our Family Corps. Fact: The porn video was his favorite – a dog having sex with a woman. A porn video he typically showed many of the Corps. Fact: This was the entire Family Corps 10 and 11. Fact: Teenagers of Family Corps were present – including a 16-year-old girl who VPW called up front to show her his porn pen [pen with moving figures of man and woman having sex]. Fact: The name of this thread is TWI was greatheck, you were there. Realization: Yup, TWI was great at poisoning the minds of their leadership-in-training with VPW's sexual perversions – heck, I was there to see it happen!

Speaking of that doggie porn video, I was living in St Marys as a 'regular believer' (not staff or corps) in 1985, when they showed it at an 'open' Christian Family and Sex night at the OSC, where any piffle grad was welcome.

The good people of St Marys and New Bremen 'needed' to see it I guess.

Now, now, y'all don't be so hard on ck, after all, Allan claims, also that vee pee and twi had a huge impact on mainstream Christianity. He's yet to provide any proof of said "claim", but he, also, claims the same things as ck and Mike in so many areas related to twi.

Maybe all THREE are the same person.

The Farther-from-the-truth, son of dumb, and the wholly ghost-writer...[okay – the last one is a bit of a stretch but would be applicable to someone adept at re-interpreting VPW's books – revealing their even deeper "spiritual" message – you know – what the author actually meant to say].

CK, are you serious? When people start thinking all hell breaks loose? Do you honestly believe God Almighty wants us to turn off our brains? Jesus said the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul and mind [Matthew 22:37]!...
No, I was talking about you in general. People here at GS are usually ok, but when it comes to you all hell breaks loose.

CK

I guess you forgot raising hell was YOUR MISSION.

ckmkeon post # 1 of I'm Back thread

…The cost of a class at TWI $75, Getting VPW Tapes for learning $25, Coming back to GS to raise hell

PRICELESS

...and to be honest...I think your real mission is to provide a cheap form of entertainment...and if you lighten up, drop the mean and nasty persona you may start achieving your mission...

I'm sorry, I have to revisit this statement (really everyone, I am sorry!) because T-bone found it confusing and so did I, and as I read it in quotes in another post, I realized why.

"talking about you in general": you, used generally, means everyone. if ck had meant T-bone, he would have said "talking about you specifically". so, ck said we're all usually ok but when it comes to us, all hell breaks loose. see, it really doesn't make sense. T-bone, it wasn't about you, so your first reply to his post about "you" (GS'ers in general, as clarified by the above) was actually appropriately framed and it wasn't your bad for mistaking ck's meaning. if ck meant something other than all of us in general, he should have indicated you specifically.

just had to clear that up.

Potato, I think just about everyone at GSC finds his posts confusing. You know it’s extremely difficult to understand the gibberish that comes out of a child’s mouth when they’re throwing a temper tantrum. Personally, I just try to decipher it the best I can and then run with it. I really don’t take any of his posts that seriously…I think you pointed it out earlier – how they lack any substance…

…And speaking of lacking substance - I take his lack of response to issues addressed to him as a silent agreement on his part. For instance, I know he read my post # 244 – because he selectively quoted from it in his “reply” of post # 248 by saying who he directed his comment towards. The fact that he did not refute any of the points I laid out is kind of a dumb thing to do on an open forum. Especially since the sum of my post said that he replaced Jesus Christ with VPW as the one he worships and obeys…And so what I am left to conclude is that when he refers to anyone failing god or forsaking the “truth” – it is the truth that VPW is his lord and savior.

I thought he would at least say something like “I’ll get back to you on this one” – which he did say on his Whatever happened to the word??, the Bible thread. I asked him for Scripture reference on his assertion that all inventions and technological advancements came by revelation…Well…come to think of it - he hasn’t gotten back to me on that one yet.

:biglaugh: you have hit the nail squarely on the head. ck evades giving proof for his position because he has none. as you pointed out (and he stated) vpw is his lord and savior. and we're all supposed to bow down and worship? hellz no!

Sorry, Raf – I’ve been thrown off by your cute avatar. Your old one gave you that serious/journalistic/authoritative look. Now I just want to hug yah – you’re so dang cute! ...uuhmmmm…oh yeah – I have been listening to what you said – but I tend to lean towards Potato’s scientific method of study. I don’t like to see anything go to waste – not even waste.

I have invited him/her(CK) on several posts to provide some information demonstrating his or her background and experience with The Way and "Dr." Wierwille. I have stated this can be which classes he/she has taken, which TWI books he/she has studied , what programs he/she has participated in or anything that would give some credibility to his/her statements. It does not have to be of a nature that would reveal his/her identity. So far, I have seen no effort on CKs' part to validate that he or she was ever personally involved with TWI.

And so once again ,I extend the invitation to him/her. What say you,CK,care to elaborate?

Here is something for you to think about

Revalation 17:1 the true meaning

Babylon is built at the junction of the two great rivers Tigiris and Euphrates. In olden times they were considered as being two great bodies of water. In those days other rivers were unknown. Babylon is often used to show corruption of political power. They were drunk with worldy power. Babylon means confusion. There was political confusion.

See that is how I see GS a mass of confusion with uncertainty at every step. There is no truth here at GS just confusion. So try thinking on this for a while and hopefully you can find you error.

(Just thought I would make you spill you coffee)

Since there is no hope of anything here all you do is come back to confusion. The most confusing thing about it to me is how you guys think you are right. So try believing sometime it works, it really works.
