I'm serious. I've been looking at tasers, a stun gun, but non-lethal weapon. taser gun Look at the pretty pink one. can anyone give me details on thse things? I know a security guy who would give me lessons. But I want to know about it before I even consider buying it. It would be for home protection.
How does it work? How many "shots" does it have in it? How effective is it? etc. etc. etc.
And what is the difference between this one and the more expensive ones that have more "Cartridges" in them?

I can see making people take classes but outright banning is unGodly. Like I said before, I guess the criminals are the lucky ones because they don't follow the rules. The hell with them. I'll get one if I want one. And if I DO get one I'll learn how to use it, and I guess I'll take my chances with the law should someone decide to try to murder or rape me.

do your research and get one anyway... they can ticket you later if they think it will stick... which you can then probably easily beat...
That totally sucks Rottie. If you still want some info on Tasers, I have the instruction book right in front of me. We carry the X26, nasty piece of work but most of the info is the same for all.

I agree that is ridiculous. If you know and trust someone in another state or one close to you, see if you can have it shipped there. Then make arrangements to pick it up or have it mailed to you from their state.

I was thinking the same thing. But I just talked to our security guy at work and he told me to let him do some checking and see what he can get me. So that's what I'll do for now.
