  1. The longer I've been out of TWI, the more I realize it was a religion. I don't care what they say they are or aren't. They are worse than most religions. I just can't wait for the next scandel to happen. RFR and DM can't be making that many friends. Surely someone will give the dirt on them.
  2. You're the best! If you hear it too many times, it starts to sound fake. VPW said it all the freakin time! How did he know I was the best? He knew nothing about me.
  3. I agree. Too much fluff made it seem a lot less genuine. I remember feeling less than adequate when I didn't have extra verbage to add to a teaching or a prayer. Gee whiz! What happned to God looking upon your heart? Simple doesn't mean stupid, but there was definitely a "show" in TWI functions.
  4. Gee, let's talk about the manifestations (SIT w/INT and Prophecy). How many times did you hear the same things over and over and over? When we asked why we kept hearing the same thing over and over, we were told that God wanted us to hear it. That was a revelational answer....NOT! It wasn't until I left TWI that I heard people being honest about how they felt about them.
  5. Chas, Anytime you feel a head spinning coming on, just look at this so you can LYAO: Go to the video called "Christians don't dance" I have to add that I'm not making fun of the performers on the video. They are talented (and decent people from what I know from working with them at HQ). It's just damn funny what TWI (aka Rozilla) demands of the choir and Way Prod and calls it entertaining. They should change the outfits for these poor people.
  6. Part of losing waybrain is getting to the point that you can actually hear disagreeable things without the "truth alarm" ringing in your head. I remember when I first started posting on GSC back in 2002 before I left TWI, there was a poster who was a minister of a church. He challenged thoughts ex-wayfers were having. He asked something to this effect: Could you think it was OK for your best friend or family to be Jewish, gay, Pagan, or anything non-Christian without having the "need" to correct them on their beliefs. At the time I read it, I was thought "No effin way! If someone doesn't want to be Christian, they are screwed spiritually." I don't necessary believe that way anymore. I think everyone should believe how they want to without prejudice as long as they aren't threatening to those around them. There are plenty of Christian types who fit in to the dangerous category. If we look at history, wars have been based on the need to kill those who lack of acceptance of others' beliefs. Look how many years Israel and the Middle East have been at it. And now we fear for our own soil because the extremist islamics want to see us dead because we are infidels to them whether we are Christian or not. I realize this puts us in the position that we HAVE NO OTHER choice but to kick their arses to protect ourselves. America was founded on freedom of religion, yet we are so quick to judge if someone isn't of the "norm". If we learned to walk around with less judgment on people, we might learn something. Tolerance is a scarey word for some people. It raises extreme emotions in quite a few actually. I have to say I have a lot less stress in my life since I've stopped the waybrain train of insanity.
  7. Did you ask to see him in the fur G-string after you met?
  8. Thank God they did. I'm not sure where I'd be if they hadn't spoke up and did what they did. It sure started me to thinking things weren't as I thought they were. There was no Prevailing Word Living like I thought. It was a LIE.
  9. Isn't Christmas an acceptable word in TWI now? How about lucky, hope, wish?
  10. Why is DM making policy? Is it because she couldn't give up being the wife of the president? She still wants to assume that role?
  11. Wow.....now THAT is a classic example of narcissism.
  12. I wanted to look at Waydale soooo bad! But I was on Staff when it was up. The only internet time I got was at the Saint Mary or New Bremen libraries. There was always so many other HQ people there, I didn't dare get caught. I did get caught on an internet dating site by a Corps guy once. He came up, looking over my shoulder, and asked "Whacha doing?" I was obviously surprised and acted like I was. Good thing he ended up being a cool guy. I heard later he make quite a stir at a Way CU meeting. Has anyone talked to P*aul All*n recently? I had email correspondence with him when I first left TWI. I was there at HQ when he and F*rn were there. I think he was finally able to move on with his life. I wonder if there will be a day when the details of what happened will be able to be made public?
  13. I wasn't there for the restructuring of the pay scales. I left HQ in 2001, and was still living a a "need" basis (ha!). We had 401K available to us right before I left. It was rather lame. I remember J*n R*yn*lds practically crying when he spoke about it to the Staff. It was almost as if he was so deeply moved that TWI moved to better people's lives. And I remember J*hn R*pp saying he talked to his brother about it, and his brother confirmed to him it was a good program. Maybe his brother was being nice? ROFLMAO! I do remember they only matched funds for people who worked there at least 7 or 8 years. What a joke. I work for County government, and they've always matched our funds. How much time you serve in the county determines how much the county contributed if you leave. It is 50% for 5 years of service, 65% for 7 years of service, and 100% for 10 or more years of service. I wok
  14. I knew of someone who was a specialist in the financial realm. This person was trusted with a lot of responsibility at HQ. This person sent in a paper when Rozilla and company requested research on debt. This person had a great presentation, plus their background in finance should have given them some recognition. But their ideas were poo-pooed. They were being watched by the LC, had lies told about them to other people in their Branch, and they left. They were treated very badly. This family dealt with cancer in their family while on Staff. They were treated like $h*t. It was sad. They were told to go back and find out where they let the adversary in. That is so heartless when someone is dealing with a disease like that.
  15. They are another Way ran by Wayne Clapp (originally ran by one of the Shroyer brothers until he passed away this past year). They carry a lot of Wierwill doctrine. And they attract a lot of ex-wayfers because it seems to be a safe place to go. I tried many offshoots after leaving TWI. They all made me want to BARF! I re-evaluated EVERYTHING I ever believed in my 19 years, 7 months in TWI. I've better for it ever since. I've been out for 7 years. Here's the link to CFF's website: CFF
  16. I remember LCM coming to lunch ranting and raving about the devil spirits working in the copouts and how they were talking about him. Little did we know he was probably reading TranceChat (Ex Way pre Waydale). He tried to hoodwink us in to believing he was so frikkin spiritual. The more I ate lunch with him, the more I realized he was a FRAUD!!
  17. I worked on Staff from 1996 to 2001. I started off making $678 a month for 50+ hours of work. We started working 50;and then because the Grounds section worked 55, the rest of HQ had to up their hours. It was painstakingly odd to work an additional 3 hours per night after already working 8-5 and eating supper. Then LCM told us we all need to take a 10% pay cut because they had to cover some payroll taxes. Nobody EVER asked to be an exception or you would get reamed big time. It was a strain making $678 per month. Then a few years later the 10% paycut was revisited, and we were told they were re-evaluating everyone's salary and to submit a new request for your salary. I was living in dire straights and used my credit card to make up the difference. There was a lot of fear in the credit card debt. Anywhoo, I asked for a little less than $200 more. I was told "No." "This is what you are getting. They didn't even replace the 10% I lost. I don't remember any cult experts or human resources experts talking to anyone at HQ. I never heard about it either. However, I do remember our hours were reduced to 46 after the Allen case was filed. I also remember much earlier than that was the personal scheduling stopped. It was the most screwed up place I ever worked. It was supposed to be a godly place, but there was a lot of disrespect going on. OldSkool, do we know each other? I worked in Word Processing from 1996 to 1999, and then in Printing Services from 1999 to 2001. BTW: Rozilla is leading the whole organization to it's end. I believe it will only be a matter of time. There are a few EXTREME diehards who stay because they don't realize there are other places to go.
  18. Oak, It almost works for me. You know it's not a sentence, right?
  19. You receive a beautiful angel Christmas ornament from your favorite aunt, but you throw it away because the angel carries devil spirits.
  20. Who is this guy? Was he in The Way (or a splinter group) at one time?
  21. I always ask myself is it possessive (the dog's nose is cold.) a contraction (it's [it is] so cold.), or is it plural (dogs are cold.)?
  22. A limb coordinator once told me people just need to quit being so uptight and to go out and get laid. That person is still an LC in TWI. Nothing like encouraging gratuitous sex.
  23. There are people who are intersexed, meaning they have parts of both male and female. It's not necessarily outward parts. There are those who appear to be male who have ovaries or a uterus even though they have a penis. There are women who have a vagina who have testes internally. These people did not have surgery to make them look one way or another. They were born that way.
  24. I'm so thankful my family didn't kick me to the curb like I did to them because of their unbeliever status. I've done some apologizing too. I even apologized to a child friend for being judgmental of her life-style. Who am I to tell her how to live her life? We were so self-righteous. We were so busy seeing how effed up everyone else was that we didn't see our own crap. What a joke. What a tragedy. What a cult.
  25. The stoning disobedient children in the OT was used more as a fear tactic for those with disobedient children. It's not they taught you should kill disobedient children. It was more of a "God thinks this about disobedient children." Sheesh....nobody could be human in TWI. I think God loves our humanness, or He wouldn't have made us human. Thankfully I became more humane and humanitarian after leaving TWI. I like myself better for it.
