  1. You know, I have never really liked any QT films, yet I am always intrigued to see what he's up to this time just because he gets soooooo much hype. I've seen Pulp Fiction, Four Rooms, True Romance, and Dusk Til Dawn. I had to leave during certain scenes in Pulp Fiction. Once the vampires came out in Dusk Til Dawn, well I just couldn't watch anymore; it made me nautious. Can someone really explain what it is with the cult following on QT? Is he really talented, or does his movies cause us to associate with our dark side? One other movie I saw that was QT-ish was with Mel Gibson called "Payback". It had that same darkness where the good guy is really a bad guy (just not as bad as the real bad guys in the movie). --> Now I better sign off before I confuse you guys like I am. :)--> Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  2. OUT, I saw him last year at the spayshul. He and his wife are BCs in the New Bedford, Massachusetts area. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  3. They are probably divorced now because she was a single corps mom in Ohio while I was at HQ. I heard she recently relocated and is engaged. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects. [This message was edited by Wayfer Not! on October 14, 2003 at 14:38.]
  4. Where are you guys? Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  5. I heard he was out too. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  6. When the Indiana Campus was sold, she sold her house also and moved back to North Carolina. That was a few years ago, so it may not be accurate still. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  7. Great picture! Thanks for sharing it! I recognize a few faces (and the cocker must be Ttessa's dog :)-->), but I'd like to know who all the rest of the other happy ones are (GS Screen Names of course). I'm sure you all are having fun. Hopefully the rest of us can make it next time. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  8. I first took this class when I was a youngin (19 yrs old). I scratched my head about masturbation being the original sin. But then when veepee tried to teach women how to masturbate, I really scratched my head. I thought now if Adam and Eve did it and got booted from the Garden of Eden, why it is OK to do it now? And then the suggestion he gave to women on how to masturbate was not a good one. Rottie, in case you are wondering, he said that women/girls needed instruction because they weren't as knowledgeable in this area. (Go figure.) I don't remember needing any lesson on this. I guess he thought that because he thought women were more reserved in this category of life. He said men/boys didn't need it because their hands always found their way to that part of the body. 9. Insurgent, I kind of doubt she left since her boyfriend just graduated from the Corps. She was pretty devoted to twi, but I could be wrong. She's a good person though. She would be one the few Corps people who don't take advantage of people. I miss her. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  10. You could call hq and ask for them. That would be a way to find out. They are good people. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  11. What is Insurgent? I have been thinking about her a lot lately since she and I were buds from our 1987 Adv Class. She may have left hq because she had a beau who graduated from the kork this year. Maybe she got married and got the H out of oz! But did she leave twi? Anything you know would be greatly appreciated.Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  12. Last I knew Bob Stanley was in the panhandle area of Florida. He hasn't done any music for twi in a long time, but he may still in his area. As far as I know, he's still in. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  13. You heard about Snowball Pete, right? He was one of Henry Boloko's spiritual partners that didn't pay up. He got a new pair of cement shoes. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  14. I also heard Maggie and Henry were shacking up, but the real kicker is they got M&A'd because they didn't "believe" hard enough for red drapes. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  15. I chose all of the above because it is different for each individual. I remember when I first starting lurking at the discussion forums (while still in), I was really curious and still fearful that I was "opening" myself up. LOL! What a dummy I was! Then my boyfriend (innie) started reading the discussion forums and was discussing with me that there were problems in twi that needed to be taken care of . At the time I was skeptical of twi, but I didn't see how reading the "bad stuff" about it was going to change it. IMO at the time, it would just pees me off. So I told him he should stop reading. Well then later, I started reading and then started posting. That changed everything for me. I saw that God would still be there for me even if I left twi. I went through a lot of mental anguish while still in, but the end result is good. I am enjoying my life out. I don't care what happens in or to twi. I have a great church I go to, and I don't even feel the compelling desire to have to agree with everything they teach. I hold fast to the good. Yeah, any suporter of twi or WayGB probably think I could have done the same thing while remaining in twi, but then again I would be an idiot to stay somewhere where I can be abused. Funny thing, I'm out, ex-boyfriend is still in. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects. [This message was edited by Wayfer Not! on September 09, 2003 at 12:03.]
  16. I hear Mr. Fletcher lost his magic pendulum though. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  17. I know she was at hq forever except for a few yeas she was in the Maryland/DC area in the early 90s. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  18. Are you saying she left twi? Or she just got reassigned to Georgia? Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  19. Mary Cate, I'm so sorry to hear this. I talked to my sister who works in cancer research. She is involved in clinical trials for drug approval from the FDA. I know the doctors said they tried everything they could, but sometimes money and insurance companies close the door to other possibilities. My sister said Zofran is a drug that is widely used for nausea, but it is expensive. So you may have to be persistant to get it. Also Marinol is another drug which is an FDA approved version of marijuana. I'll keep your Mom in my prayers. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  20. He worked at HQ for a year, and then he moved to Arizona in 2001. Not sure, but I thought he moved to Tucson. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.
  21. Last I heard, they were still in and living in the Big Apple. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  22. Def, Were you bored last night? :D--> Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  23. Mike, NOBODY dropped the ball. We have the choice to master God's Word; pfal is not all God's Word even though it may contain SOME of it. Get over yourself Mike. A comment like that accuses people. You have no right to do that. Exy: hahaahahahahah I lie how you call a spade a spade. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  24. TS: That sounds a lot more fun than mastering pfal. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
