  1. MJ, You are too darn funny!!! I am cracking up......tvt...std.....LMAO!!!!! Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  2. BOWTWI (and aren't we all?), Good one!! Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  3. Tom S: I think I was getting ahead of myself with saying wap is nixed. I just remember them saying they were redoing the foundational class video at the ac-not-so-spashul. Maybe they will keep the name as wap so they don't have to make new binders, etc. They are mastering pfal though, so I thought Mike would like to join them.... Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  4. Mike, You know twi went back to pfal after they nixed the wap class. Don't you think your efforts could be much more appreciated there? It makes me think of the song "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover." Just for the record, I was a KID when this song came out. My version of this song would be called "20 Ways to Leave Your Way Brain." 1. Kick your believing in pfal to the curb, Herb. 2. pfal snake oil causes much mental toil, Doyle. Anybody else got some they could add?? Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. 5. Mike, I thought seaspray was your only fan. I would venture to say that if someone hasn't revealed that they like your stand on matering pfal, then they aren't out there. Sorry I don't mean to burst your bubble, but I just hate to see dead horses beaten. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  6. Quote from Mike: ?If those are the only things you can come to that table with, I ask you to brainstorm a few new ones with me.? Mike, you obviously haven't convinced anyone to change their mind about mastering pfal. You could shake the dust off your feet. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  7. Quote from Mike to Rascal: Kitchen getting toooooo hot on this EX-WAY website Mike? Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  8. Igotout: I agree with you wholeheartedly. There is much more satisfaction in paying off a home which will be completely yours than paying rent to someone who is getting the adavantage of homeownership. It makes so much more sense. BTW, I've seen B&D M's townhouse. It's pretty darn elaborate for a man who is paid by abs. I didn't see the average joe believer in Tampa living that way. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
  9. I'm a born and raised webfoot and proud of it! Oregon is God's Country! I was born and raised in Klamath Falls (small town on the Oregon/California border). Got involved in twi in 1983 in KFalls and left that town for good. Moved to Beaverton (Portland suburb), Oregon from 1988-1990. Then lived there again from 1993-1996. 10. I am a fellow Californian (not native though). I lived in Fremont 1990-1992 and now I live in San Diego (since 2001). So Cal is great!! Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.

    Texas

I was WOW in 1984-85 in Texas. The first 3 months were in Waco (before the other kooky cult was there) and then I lived in Midland for 3 more years after the WOW year until 1988. My first WOW family coord was Rick Finucan(14th corps)--he got released from WOW and WC that year. My second WOW family coord was Bob Vorbach (14th Corps). I really miss him. If anybody knows where the heck he is, I would love to know. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  12. Leigh was on Staff at HQ the last two years I was there (I left in 2001). When I left, he worked in the construction dept. I didn't know him before he came to HQ, but people that knew him said that his wife committed suicide. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  13. BOWTWI!!! HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I sent you an email! Hope your day is wonderful--like you are!! :D--> Love you bunches!! Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  14. Royal Gorge, I didn't see the "other" poll. By the way, Hi, how are you doing? We worked in the same cabinet area at HQ. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  15. They were and probably still are the campus coordinators at Gunnison. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  16. chwester, If carbohydrates make you fat, and the low carb diet doesn't work for people with "A" type blood, what is suggested for people with that type? Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  17. I heard about the South Beach Diet. My friends' mom went on it and lost 7 pounds her first week. A neighbor of the mom had quite a belly and lost most of it within 3 weeks. From what I understand, it is a moderated low carb diet (maybe similar to Suzanne Somers' diet). But the big thing is the reports made in people losing their bellies. Now that's a diet. 18. LOL!! (We wished we could have read it in the original also, otherwise we wouldn't have been hoodwinked by the pfal pirate.) Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  19. WaywardWayfer: I saw MANY people at HQ do Body for Life. To me, it seems to be a very hard program to follow--strict food regulation and extremely strenuous workouts. The only people I really saw have the kind of results that they show on the book is people who were generally already in shape, not overweight. They just built muscle and looked better. I remember one woman who is really tall and overweight who lost a lot of weight on it, but still did not receive the pictured results. She followed the diet and workout regime to a "T". Then there was someone else who really didn't have to lose much weight (maybe 10 pounds). She lost weight but did not really look much different. I came to the opinion that sometimes your body is just a certain way. Not everybody will have that cut look like the examples on the pictures unless less they have some help from sterioids--my opinion. I saw a man who did the program also. He needed to lose some weight. He did, but still didn't have the cut look like in the pictures. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  20. Dot, Sure shows vepees arrogance to think he had control over the fault lines here in California. What a BIG FAT EGO. Now I know where lcm got it from. Geez. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  21. But when divers were sickened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way of docvic before the GSers, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one PFAL. [not a direct quote; some words were changed to fit this topic] Sirguessalot: I think you explained it VERY WELL ;)--> Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  22. Quote from Mandii: Mandii, this is the BEST explanation I have heard regarding a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. I have been constirnating about this for quite some time. I know Jesus has a more active role in the Body since he's the Head. It was so hard to figure it out since twi made him absent. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Anything else you can share would be greatly appreciated!! If anybody has a copy of this article from the previous way rag, please let me know. I really want to see it. I think it was before my time. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  23. Thehighway, My thinking is that when we go from one extremely to the next, we find the balance. I think it's perfectly normal and OK. You will probably get tired of the unproductive stuff and go back toward the middle. And only you can be the judge of how much time that takes for you. ;)--> You don't have any religious hypocrites telling you how to live your life anymore--thank God!! 17th Corps

My friend, Millie Tavares, was in the 17th Corps until lcm declared his "stand with me or leave" crap. Anybody know where she is? I last talked to her when she was married (probably still is) and in Orlando, Florida, around 1993. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
  25. They are brother and sister, and they are a lot of fun!!! They were both on staff when I was, and I always enjoyed being around them. She left staff about 1 1/2 years ago. Last I heard she was in Massachusetts. I heard he was going there too. If anybody knows how to get in touch with them, let me know. Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.
