  1. It's probably a real good thing you didn't reveal the LC's name.. for the LC.. if people don't believe that some of us were brainwashed.. how in the WORLD do you explain something like that.. makes me even more convinced today. Had I stayed in, my oldest would have ended up stone cold dead.. I don't have the words to describe my lack of respect for this vile cult..
  2. Well.. der vey was a rather small group to begin with.. without the internet, it might be a tad difficult to hook up with some of the old crowd. I think a lot of associations people got from the group are important, not necessarily the group itself.. In a very very strange kind of way.. is this perhaps "the way" that we REALLY wanted to join? We can even fight like cats and dogs if we want to, without being screamed at to renew our minds..
  3. My laptop uses Vista.. for two months, I couldn't log on to the wireless network at school (that was one reason I got the laptop) Daggone thing won't let me log in as "administrator".. I'd like to play with a Dos prompt, I can now, but 95% of the files won't let me without administrator priviledges.. No, if I can, I'm really not going to "shoot myself in the foot" with the thing.. for that matter, I can't upgrade the manufacturer's fix for the bios. No administrator priviledges.. Other that that, it looks "pretty".
  4. At best, "children, obey your parents in the lord" belong on the fourth level. Not the first.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy_of_needs
  5. I think also, with so many different individuals with so many different experiences, I think there is no easy answer. One thing I can say.. I was OUT at the time my oldest was a teen. That is a real plus.. it seems they interfered in the worst kind of way with teenagers, from what I have observed.
  6. Yep.. and I wouldn't suggest that either. I've seen people live life in a Clintonesque manner, leaving one "dead body" after another.. and they don't have time to stop or to look back.. Clinton left a big enough trail that the people trying to follow it choked in the ensuing feeding frenzy.. I think a lot of this kind of stuff can be traced back to Crowley.. he claimed if you just kept on moving, things would eventually work out.. I think the restraints of law do serve a legitimate purpose.
  7. Glad I'm not the only one who sees this.. Things today are worse than when I left around 1996. I remember a few months ago, it was some kind of forum for youth in der vey.. they were as arrogant if not more so than their parents who are still in.. I think they sacrificed their own children to the devil.. What the parents don't realize in this insane "spirit is thicker than blood" scenario, they've really just sacrificed themselves. Wait till you're old..
  8. It's almost like the end of Raiders of the lost ark.. couple of lackeys wheeling CES off into a government junkpile somewhere.. "we have or BEST people at work on it.." "who are THEY?" "the BEST people.."
  9. Thanks for your contribution Temple Lady. Did you vote? I dunno. Some people I seem to drive nutso.. even before they know me. Maybe they had too much of me once before..
  10. Sometimes the answer to a person's prayer is not the one they asked for.. Once I prayed for a relationship.. and all the prayer did was enable closure.
  11. Unfortunately, yes. But he is VERY VERY quiet. Only a very few of his followers will speak up for him.. The secret to his success you know.. Interesting that the arrogance of twi isn't very functional outside of it's own walls..
  12. I dunno.. those sycophants have been living off of the resources of other people for sooooo long.. and it's not just money, it's love, adulation.. even worship.. I think the answer is well beyond prayer.. I really think it's like the days of Jezebel and Jehu.. a couple eunuchs hanging around.. "who's on the lord's side.. throw her down.." he didn't request them to pray for her.. well, who knows.. I still don't see the rejoicing news of the brand pulled out of the fire here. Ironically enough, it's JL who actually seems to have done SOMETHING and gotten a life so to speak.. and it's not about the bible, or being a moglet- I'm thinking of his college test preparation readiness thingy. Which doesn't make sense to me.. why appear here "on behalf of" the organization? I think the record in Kings is significant and applicable here. The error of Jezebel also concerned "prophecy".

    Protocol

I think it was the trickle down mogness effect. But always remember, the cheese stands alone!
  14. I think a person can now edit their profile statement..
  15. If you can HONESTLY acknowledge plagiarism, and inquire where the leader REALLY got his "doctorate" degree from..
  16. If you.. refer to four (or more) years of "training for christian service" as volunteer church work..

    Anti-protocol

The visiting mogster is on his own, let em rent a car, or take a taxi from the airport..

    Anti-protocol

Set up protocol is also on the menu here. Among other items: NOTHING is to be held down with duct tape. Never, for ANY reason. I remember a tri-state limb meeting, and the audio service to the stage was a single conglomerate of wires, referred to as a snake.. I think. This thing had the weight and consistency of a large iron chain. It just laid there.. just screaming out for miles of duct tape, but the hotel forbad any kind of tape to be used on the carpet. The guy in charge of setup was going into withdrawl.. "we'll even use super high tech fifty dollar a roll tape, won't leave anything behind.." nope. NO greeters to direct parking with a class of five new students..

    Anti-protocol

Not a blanket statement, but what a lot of mog types don't realize.. and some can't come to grips with, is the name tag usually doesn't necessarily accompany them outside of the organization. Interesting what happens here at GSC when they try to smuggle it out with them..

    Anti-protocol

Well.. if it did manage to slip under their spiritual "radar".. at least they'd never put me in charge of "refreshments". Ever again.. Hmm. Maybe that's why they guarded those meeting rooms like Fort Knox.. the fear.. that the mogness might get the classical pie in the face..
  21. I think a lot of it depends on a person's character. Only a godly or righteous person would not intentionally use liberty as a license, or excuse for sin. He who is righteous practices righteousness. Hmm.. the law wasn't made for the righteous, was it?
  22. Ah, what a world of opposites we live in.. I had "proper" protocol drilled into my head so much.. that I find myself wishing to do or actually doing the opposite. It seems that a lot of ex higher-up's in the organization get the same kind of reception here, and wonder what hit them.. Maybe what I was thinking on the other threads may get more mileage here. The big "rev" enters the room. I just can't bring myself to use that word.. "hello rrr, um, reeee, um.. rrrreeee.." Just can't give the sycophants that kind of respect anymore.. maybe der vey ruined me.. I really did sit down a couple of times, when his "greatness" entered the room, on purpose. "They" don't want me in charge of the little details.. instead of mints, I really would put carefully cut sections of Alka Seltzer in the little dish behind the podium... not pure white vinegar, but maybe diluted somewhat.. after frothing and spitting out vinegar water, the visiting mogness would wonder what kind of "fellowship" he was really invited to.. I wouldn't have anybody sitting in the first row.. Now that's over.. what would people here do, or have done? I wonder if anybody else has ever felt the same.. Any suggestions for "anti-protocol" are welcome.
  23. I think.. I don't know if I would call it harm, but my kids are finding that I really am quite different without the religious veneer I wore in der ministry. In a way, I was doing the best I knew to do at the time. I can only hope they don't or won't think I'm some kind of hypocrite.
  24. That always sounded kinda "funny" to me.. I didn't know ears had balls..
  25. and have not a single chair facing the same directionas another. Not a stinking one..
