hi lindyhopper!...............harry "donated" his bank account to vic in 1957, after the 2 brothers convinced reuben, lydia and sevilla to sign over their parts of the wierwille farm to the newly incorporated "The Way, Inc.", of which. vic was the prez, ermal owens was the vice prez, and, h.e. wierwille was the secy/treasurer. harry made the donation from his furniture rehupolstery business in spencerville, ohio........it was supposed to help renovate the old farmhouse so vic could move his family from van wert to the old farm, and also have an office in the house from which to direct the movement of his word over the world!...............harry would regularly "empty his account" from the business into twi as situations warranted........he kept that business going throughout the 60's.......i don't know when he "officially" sold it, but he was still in charge of buying furniture for staff at hq as well as for different limb properties twi bought in several states when i went into the corps in '73.........i used to go to auctions almost every week with harry, where he would buy furniture, appliances, farm equipment and machinery for hq and twi-owned properties...............by '72, there was a furniture re-finishing and rehupolstery shop which harry oversaw at a twi owned property in new knoxville and also some work like this was done out at the kipp farm...........................................................peace.

Though a Code of Conduct may seem unnecessary to those with a different experience, these biblical guidelines have helped us be “on the same page” morally and ethically. The attitudes and behaviors listed are the goals that we as the leaders of Spirit & Truth Fellowship have set for ourselves, in conjunction with the standards of the leadership epistles of Timothy and Titus. We want everyone involved with our ministry to know just how they can expect those who represent Spirit & Truth Fellowship to live, and to speak up if they fail to do so. it was the early fall of 1977, waysider........and, yes......the "sweeping under the carpet" aspect of this is disturbing.......that was my point in mentioning it in my first post on this thread........as i said,......the cancer/devil spirit possession doctrine was a growing "problem" for vic, especially when it hit as close to home as it did with harry........whom vic relied on for much more than financial support...........interesting, is'nt it.....that as close to fritz as wg apparently was/is.......that such a "secret" was so well kept!.....needless to say, these types of "situations" must have put fritz and others under quite a bit of pressure to maintain that kind of info in his "lockbox".......but, after all, dr./patient confidentiality is a professional requirement...........jane olthouse also pitched in providing care for harry........debbie was very compassionate in her nursing care and harry's death hit her hard too.........as it did all of us who knew harry back in the day......peace.

hello watered garden and waysider!............yes......'tis true......................harry died after a bout with colon cancer...........debbie zelov was his "private duty nurse".......when he returned to hq after fritz winegarner operated on him..............another sad case of euphamizing a cruel death due to cancer in the wierwille family..............harry's death was particularly traumatic for vic........especially his pain and suffering during the final days............it was sad indeed............peace.
