  1. Far, Far below the THRONE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
  2. Hey Sunesis, It's for those of us that do indeed believe in the wonderful and living Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Despite those who want to name call....Bless on! Got any good topics? I'm game. I only get to post occasionally now until I get back online, but I'm willing.
  3. It is indeed. Who can ever take the place of a God who is so all powerful?
  4. That would depend on who it was, I should think. That could get very dangerous physially if you do that to some men. I would think that the better response would be to just look at them, and then walk away. The point would still be made and not open you to any physical altercations that could harm you.
  5. A quote from the site: CMR has numerous examinations of individuals, ministries, and doctrines under our ProFiles section. The ProFiles are broken down into categories such as Doctrine, Ministries, False Prophets, and Media. These files feature lengthy examinations and profiles of the relevant subject. The Newsletter section features almost one hundred prophecy oriented essays on a variety of subjects. It would seem that they would better spend their time praising and glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ. If they think that they have such correct doctrinal leanings, then perhaps they should also hold it forth and then we can EXAMINE THEM.
  6. I just got a copy of his latest mag. I don't know how they got my addy either. He is quite controversial and argumentative. He reminds me of Hank Hannegraf in thinking that he is the Bible Answer Man. It's good for a hoot.
  7. Yes, the usual term for these things are: SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET!
  8. No, it's a saying....kinda akin to I'll be dammed
  9. You can be born again, but a backslider. If others are still keeping their lockbox mentality carefully locked, they should really think about repentance first and foremost. I don't think that anyone would want to walk into eternity with that kind of stuff still hidden away, for it won't be hidden anymore when the Lord Jesus begins their judgement.
  10. Change is certainly not illusory, but is an ongoing reality. All we have to do is look at our physical body and realize that we are a completely new person, what is it, every seven days?
  11. Yes, Roy. It is the spiritually dead that the Lord Jesus was speaking about when He told them to bury their own physical dead. Besides which, it was also a Jewish proverb that people used to get out of doing something that they really weren't interested in doing.
  12. So you'rean honest(or not so honest) real-life troll? Walllll.....I'll be jiggered!
  13. I personally don't care who they are here at the cafe. If someone is writing merely to cause trouble, for the sake of trouble, outside of being banned, you have some choices to make. 1. read and don't respond 2. read and respond patiently As far as trolls in the scriptures, I think most people at one time or another have dealt with trolls like Judas Iscariot, I know I have. Trolls like the ones in Nehemiah who came against him and tried to stop the building of the temple and the ministry that he was trying to build, resorting to lies, persecution, destructive means of stopping the building so that they had to physically guard the work area, writing to the king in an attempt to stop Nehemiah from building, I can currently relate to in a very real and personal way. What is worse, these people attend some church or other and probably believe themselves to be Christian. I think of that verse in Matthew? (I don't have my bible with me at the moment), where the Lord Jesus states, "There will be some who think that to kill you they are doing the work of God." This would be like Saul before he converted, a very devout Jew but nevertheless very wrong. I'm facing these too, right now. I keep on praying for them, but will admit sometimes I just want justice done. If not here, then in the heavenly court with the Lord and King, Jesus presiding on the bench.
  14. Well, I didn't think it appropriate to call them, since I was no longer involved with them.
  15. Hi Rascal, I believe this is a quote from a poem by Edgar Allen Poe: "Death is the Great Equalizer" And the Lord Jesus Christ is the Great Judge. If there isn't any justice down here regarding this, there will be in the Throne Room of the Great King, Jesus, the Christ! Hope springs eternal, does it not?
  16. Who has the right to take a life, but God? I also realize that not everyone is connected to God or His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and therefore sometimes life might appear hopeless and so the only alternative for them is to end their life. Or perhaps they are in great physical pain and they know that death is inevitable, so why continue to suffer? Yet, excluding war, I do not believe that anyone should end life, even their own. How will God judge this? I do not know. I would only say that if you know someone who has committed suicide, to say a prayer for them and to ask the Lord to have mercy on them. Perhaps this is what Paul was speaking about in Corinthians when he remarked about praying for the dead, and even baptizing them in good faith. Who knows? We'll find out on the other side, I dare say.
  17. Is there enough bandwidth?????? I dunno.....! #! - ANTI-CHRIST! All others are a sub-topic of this one! This is because I do not believe there is actually enough bandwidth to support your question.
  18. Hey Jeff, Don't wish to sound like I'm totally in the dark....but I am....LOL Do please tell me what point I made that was so fascinating to you? As far as stickers on the back of bibles, I had mine there on the bible I bought at their bookstore. When I was so totally disgusted at the deception perpetrated, one day when I was reviewing all of the bogus errors that I had actually taken the time to write down in the "wide margins", I spied it and tried to peel it off. It came off, but left a gooey mess. So I used a product called GOO-BE-GONE and off came all of the old goo from the old sticker. I will never put stickers on my bible again, from anyplace that I might be involved with ever again.
  19. I'm a tad bit confused...are you leaving of your own accord? Or did you get Das Boot?
  20. No, the blankets are for modesty for the ladies, so that none of the men sitting down can look up their dresses. Laughing in the Spirit is very real. However, there are always those who want to operate in the flesh realms and this is what makes it look hokey to the rest. Tis sad indeed! I know when I have experienced it several + times and it just usually comes on you, there is nothing external to trigger it, but the Holy Spirit has either shown me something funny in the spirit realm and told me something funny and the laughter has just erupted without warning. If you do this in a church that doesn't normally practice this, it could really cause the pastor to get hung up about his sermonic abilities. Me either!
  21. Too bad! I was hoping old Georgy would liven up the party in heaven....now I guess not!
  22. It is indeed snobbery to the extreme. If the Lord Jesus Christ had wanted to annul the practice, I would think that after he had fulfilled the OT prophecy concerning himself, that He would have stated the obvious to His disciples and furthermore that it would have been recorded for posterity. I know I was baptized the first time with a dipper of water, the second time by the Holy Spirit, the third time, the TWI Dry Cleaning method and the fourth time, a water baptism that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself led me to receive when I was in India. Then the last time, it was more of a reconfirmation process before the Lord. It would seem to me that if water baptism was obsolete, the Lord Jesus wouldn't have led me to it in the first place.
  23. I think I would tend to call it more in the line of A-R-R-O-G-A-N-C-E! I mean really....I do believe it is the Lord Jesus' responsibility to keep HIS WORD alive..... loloolololololll cough....cough.... Hey Jeff, More like VPW screaming....LOOK AT ME....LOOK AT ME....LOOK AT ME....AIN'T IZE SPESHUL??? MIRROR, MIRROR, ON THE WALL... AW, WHO ASKED YOU ANYWAYS!
  24. I never mentioned it for a long time either, then I tentatively mentioned it without any names attached and there wasn't too much response. I got bolder and one day I actually mentioned it, there was a definite response. To those old enough to have been in a ministerial position at that particular time, they remember it and it then paints you with the same colors, even if you no longer have anything to do with it, however, for those that are younger, it doesn't really sync with them. I still say be careful who you admit it to, it can still come back and bite you in the butt.
  25. Well, her rendition of "Precious Lord" she had it hands down. I've never heard another rendition like hers that just m-o-v-e-s me!
