Just a little information I acquired today.

Those of you still needing to book rooms might want to do so as soon as you can.

I was informed by a hotel booking agent there's a festival in the The Woodlands that weekend.

According to her, rooms will be harder to find, at least in that general area.

Just thought I'd pass the information along.

Good news and bad news from the Suds clan.

Good news: Laddie got the pin out of the leg that had become dislocated and is healing well. But he continues to be on "lock down" meaning he is in the kennel except for potty breaks. Lock down is over Monday, November 6.

Bad news: Sudo and Suda cannot come to Texas (boo-hoo) for the BBQ as Suda will have to be at home taking care of Laddie on Saturday. (Sudo will be at the Ole Miss game - what a shocker!).

Know you all will have a blast. Have a drink for me and a taste of all the good food. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Suda I'm sorry to hear you guys won't be able to come to the bbq but I understand about you needing to be with Laddie and I'm glad to hear he's healing up. Our doggies are members our family, too. As far as the Ole Miss game goes...good luck to them as long as they're not playing a Texas team.

Sadly -- I will not be able to attend either.

Hoping against hope -- I see now that it just won't work.

Since one other co-worker has had this week-end scheduled off for the past 3 months,

he gets priority, and no one has signed up to fill his time,

on the two days that he and I work together.

(the weekend of THE BBQ) :(

Since his schedule isn't covered,

there is no way two of us can be gone at the same time,

without someone *filling the shoes*.

Was really looking forward to this.

I was wanting open road, time off, *fellowship*, meeting you all

face to face --- sans monitor screen.

Meebe some day. But not this time. :(

Someone else is going to have to pick the *Cotten-Eyed Joe* for you all.
