Randy Ginn..............bwaaaaaahaaaaaa

Howard Allen put Randy & Diane in charge of Canada after our visas ran out in April 1987.  The Canadian government would NOT extend our work-visas.......and insisted that our time was over.  Since Diane had Canadian citizenship, Randy and her were given the responsibility.  Then, he ran rough-shod over plenty of peoples' lives and many exited after that.

Years later, Randy/Diane were in the Cleveland area where Larry Panar3llo and Mark Wall-ace built a reputation of legalism.  Those guys carried their briefcases around corps week with files on everyone in their areas and extensive teaching notes.  GSC poster Catcup had lots to say about all this years ago.

So, yeah.........Randy Ginn, not surprised at all that he brown-nosed his way into this.

Isn't that SPAY-SCHAL?

Ginn's damage control message demonstrates that TWI is dealing from a position of weakness.

Hey Randy,

You might be able to fool all of the people SOME of the time but because you can't fool all of the people all of the time, this is what you're really doing...

"If they cannot answer a question they will be able to contact me for further insight from God's Word"

It's too bad God's Word isn't written down somewhere where everyone can access it.  Thankfully, this man has a heart to serve.

So........if Randy Ginn/ region guy says "this group has nothing to do with The Way International"........does that mean:

  1. Everyone in "that group" is mark/avoid?
  2. Twi has circled the wagons and will NOT address any of their concerns?
  3. Unless they grovel......none of them are welcome at The Way?
  4. That's the blunt nature of being associated with a cult?
  5. Other?

~~~~~~~~~~
This group has nothing to do with twi............Slapped down by the cult?
You're right Skyrider.  His statement is unclear and confusing.  But God is not the author of confusion.
And another thing............Ginn states, "I do not believe God operates in the methods they employ."
Perhaps, Randy Ginn has never read Acts 15........where no small dissension had arisen in the church and Paul and Barnabus take these issues up with the elders in Jerusalem.  Read the chapter, Randy.  Verse 7 says "when there had been much disputing......"   In other words, major disagreement erupted on both sides.
Sheesh, Randy.........who made you God on a stick?
This kind of crap by a region coordinator, no less........is disgusting and repulsive.
  • First of all, this group sent a cordial 7-page letter to Rivenbark, Rupp, & De Lisle.......in August 2016.
  • They requested a private audience with BOD to discuss these issues.
  • And, to be sure that this letter was NOT snubbed.......they requested a response date of August 15th.
  • Obviously, BOD rallied the troops and attempts made to strong-arm them into submission
  • NOW.......it's May 7th........and "this R&R group" held a Facebook Q&A.
It is the Board of Directors that are acting "unbiblical" in all of this.
Randy Ginn is a deceiver and a fraud.
Ed Horney, at about 28 minutes into the video recording (on FB, not YouTube, so I don't know how to share it here or if that's even available) talks about Acts 15.
Thanks Rocky.....
Yeah, anyone who knows ANYTHING about resolving conflicts in a biblical manner.........notably thinks of this resolution in Acts 15.
Apparently, Randy Ginn was sleeping during that session of class.
Just a few minutes later in the video, the panel addressed the issue of the Moneyhands being M&A. They all laughed and surmised that it wouldn't be only Bob and Dottie...
On the subject of researching to get to the original's as written by the writers of the books of the bible, the panel sincerely indicated that ongoing research is warranted that might challenge "core teachings" of TWI... but they still are quite naive on this issue. One panelist cited Wierwille on JCING as the standard for changing their minds when necessary.
But they have no idea, 30+ years out from Penworks' experience, that Wierwille wasn't consistently sincere in that attitude.
I think this RnR group only cares about peeling as many people away from twi to get their own group rolling. We need another splinter group, eh?
I can't attest to the group's motivation, but the likely outcome will probably be just that.
Great points Rocky. My experiences with cff, stfi, tltf is most core teachings remain the same as TWI then they add the new research or get back to the nostalgic good old days. I predict that RnR will d the same.
More than likely........as this R&R group grapples with their new surroundings, the VPW-MOG scales will fall from their eyes.  Slowly, but surely........many of them too will come to grips with the deception, manipulation and exploitation.
Clearly, there is hardly room for ANOTHER splinter group that holds allegiance to wierwille..............is there?
For context and perspective, the FB event had 1,400 invitations sent out, with 288 people attending it live. Don't know how many people watched or will watch the vid after the fact.
1400 is probably around the US twi headcount. Just a guess.
Consider that you have a target audience for such a strategic move that includes potentially a thousand or more people who are already locked into the idea that they need to give away 15 percent of their income in order for God to protect them. The question is whether a viable market exists. I'd guess that it does... and that among the new splinter leadership group, there's probably enough financial resources to make them not so concerned about the urgency of getting the new revenue stream up and running to ensure survival.
