  3. Congratulations, that was worth the wait. Washington Post was in the same category; your newspaper beat them! Well done. Wish I could read the articles, but their website isn't available in Europe.

Did we have lunch at La Bamba? Anyway, find me. You have my number at work.

  9. The Sun Sentinel, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., won the public-service medal for its coverage of the February 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland and its follow-up reporting about local officials’ actions before and after the killing of 17 students and staff members at the school. The public-service award is considered the most prestigious in the 14 journalism categories. https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/the-washington-post-wins-3-pulitzer-prizes-sun-sentinel-wins-public-service-medal-for-parkland-shooting-coverage/2019/04/15/1478f18e-5fa3-11e9-9ff2-abc984dc9eec_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.798ab522192d

  10. He said nothing about them "stopping." If the law changed in the mid 80s, none of us heard that twi changed to comply. In fact, it was only when lawyers were digging through twi due to lawsuits brought against twi that lawyers saw lots of practices that may have been illegal and were definitely questionable, and told twi to change. With them possibly having to go to court, their illegal and immoral practices would have offered a wealth of riches for the prosecuting attorney to turn over, and legal followups would probably have been the death knell to twi's finances- which would have been the end of twi entirely. The doubt was on when they started. I think it was a good decade after you think it started. Rocky might agree.

  11. Not making it PUBLICKLY known means the public at large (you, me...) don't hear about it. They can still do things and keep from announcing them to the entire world wide web. I knew some people who- legally- agreed to follow required standards- PUBLICKLY- and PRIVATELY showed no interest whatsoever in following them. Their rule was not to tell the authorities and not to get caught. No, I never joined THEIR organization. It's the same way JAL no longer "officially"/PUBLICKLY shills for Momentus (or whatever the new, secret names changed to, I forget) , but when communicating PRIVATELY with people, he's been caught trying to get them to sign up. Repeatedly. I mean, vpw never PUBLICKLY announced he was going to drug and rape and molest women. Does that mean he didn't do it?
