Abi how do you know you do not have one next door? or at the school or at the dr's office? As far as the 18 year he was convicted of sexual abuse (she had a baby dad was UPSET!) . they arrested him and he did jail time. but it does state the ages of when the crime took place and dates they are older now of course. the owner of this store is 93 years old and a true pillar in this community . If he didnt want it up there trust me it wouldnt be I think one of his grands is a cop on the force or something. He and his family founded this town etc. of course they still consider it a PUBLIC service . they used to just murder them . lol true tho .

stayed to long I think some think that way and that is just honest as some assume in a working class naighborhood we all drink and fight and gossip and are fat. I do not think that and I think the illussionis getting smaller with 3 different childrens dr. going to prison for child porn and sexual abuse etc in this area in the last year. BUT then why is a community with a higher tax base just next door and in fact so close one of the adresses of the convicted is closer to their school than this one. why would they not put the notice in a public place ? shame? to keep the illusion of the neighborhood being somhow better cleaner and less troubled for sure. In appearance anyway. why do some do this and some not. the criminals in the post office are wanted criminals . these are guys who have done there time and have moved into the neighborhood and are trying to live a "normal" life with their records and details of the crime and their current adress displayed. I think it is a little different .

Last year I saw them I went outside to smoke at work in the night and everyone was looking up at them no so great as that picutre but still awesome to look at. makes ya love life doesnt it? they moved away it seemed maybe it was a big cloud that covered them after a few minutes.

Not for long I wouldn't. I would move pronto if I had any children, or if children visited! I believe it all now. to be married at what age varies from state to state even today some allow young teens to marry and in NY if a parent consents it goes to court and may be allowed. that is not to be compared to being charged and convicted of sex with aminor child . marriage is NOT a LICENSE in the state to allow sex. In some states adulery is illegal and a person can be arrested as is sodomy illegal in some states sodomy is now legal in NY at this time again but many states still out law anal sex .still in spite of the heavy homo agenda in America to stop that law. without sodomy laws sex with a boy isnt rape or sexual abuse to the same degree it would be male on female . IN states with the sodomy laws still on the books male homo sex is breaking the law of the land and they can be arrested. the legal age of consent is 17 in NY it does not matter if it was consentual or not if the girl is under 17 the guy is breaking the law and vice versa. How about that 6th grade teacher and that very young teen she went to jail lost all her kids and is out now they got married when she got out because he is of age now. hmm. they have a couple of children when he was only a young teen what a story there huh?

radar well he was convicted of sexual abuse on a minor . legal age is 17 in this state. the girls mom moved away but the boys mom has alot of property here and ties so she must deal with this everyday from everyone. It doesnt say the ages of the teens involved or the names of the victims I happen to know the families involved but it does state the boys address as his mom"s she is very embarassed. her son is still dating the girl. it was her father who pressed charges against him . I do not know I think it is true we need to know although an adult he was also very young and close to age to her. I can forgive those who have not sinned agaist me ex 70's I just can not ask another to do it .

this is awful I suppose. I was very very tidy with small children at home and working full time while in twi . now I don't care what people think to much . But it is a poor witness and it does seem like you do not care about others if you can not clean up the area you live in. everyone is more relaxed when the place is organized i admit that even if I cant accomplish it . but devil spirits can stay and people can be critical I frankly have better things to concern myself with now. thank God.

they paid the sentence the judge gave them after conviction do not ask me if it was enough or not . one did seven years , one had sex with a 16 when he was 18 . what if it was you son or your brother in law or your child was the victim would you feel the same way? some of these families came to this town directly from europe to start a new life.. this town has strong roots and very powerful families within the community for generations. yes it is an ethnic town. very.

My town is a trip . We have alot of rentals older homes and bars more bars than miles for sure. blue collar jobs industry and no new growth in over fifty years no room. But as close as we all live we do not get away with to much without the neighbors knowing and telling hha I guess you have to know small towns to understand it. we have seven group homes which place a large tax burden on us as we have alot of elderly . the big town fights and wins against having any . we have a tiny little police force which ride bikes yes two wheels and pedals haha . I love it . the large town impress one another with large huge mansions and big money but do not want to know your name unless it puts more money in their pocket. but this picture thing is killing me come on do we need this blaring as a reminder everyday ? I think we all lost our pride or somhow got a very large dose of it along the way not sure which. it does make me laugh tho. it is so like my town to do this. would YOU be embarrassed if your next door neighbor was on the store front window? with this info about him?

no one is lulled into a false sense of security here that is for sure. I laugh because I tend to agree with the pictures on the door but then I think would an upper class town or a fancy subarb allow such noticable disgrace to be displayed? I live in a rather working class red neck drinking town (small) but a neighboring community is four times the size and a much higher income base and they have no such notifications . THEY ARE THE ONES LULLED if you ask me. We saw the dude the other day , and someone said that is HIM!!! omG. dude has to watch his back constantly he has been assualted etc. to much. thanks for posting your opinion .

holding a person accountable is what love really is to me. the tiny face screaming with an ear infection all night long , forces me to be accountable for their health and trip to the doctor. the old friend who asks a sensitive question that stings reminds me I owe this friendship an explanation and I want to be accountable to what I did or didnt for the love we share to continue. an enemy changes his stance and seeks a new life without persecuting meI am accountable to Jesus Christ as my LOrd to forgive 70 times 7 as He asks me to. forgivness is all about holding the other accountable and your own self accountable it is the only way love/ and true understanding can happen in life. I do not want to miss it.

what do you think of this idea? I thought about this topic when I was reading the forgivness thread and I would like to know what you guys think of this idea. In the town I live in we have a small very popular store , on the glass door as you walk in the store are pictures of the convicted child molesters that live in this town. The address they lived at the details of their crime when it was done etc.... lol now I think it is gross to look at when I walk in the store 3 of them live here, it is legal for the owner to do this clearly. MY son think it is a fantastic idea . My daughter thinks it is disgusting. Now I know we can all find out about child molesters in the area you live IF you go to the town and look up stuff etc. this is plastered on the door of the major store in town on main street. what do you think of this? would you like these picutres and info on your towns store front doors? how does forgivness play into this? How about justice in America? all of these men did their time and paid the sentence required and are out of jail legaly living here.

People are not always ready to change to suit me and make me happy. Love isnt selfish that demands another toe the line of behaviour or life style that pleases another. that is abuse really. to demand another change is not love at all it is a dictator who wants to control . If you love somone do they need to abide by your rules and regullations only? and if they can not or do not will you never forgive them ? Is that a threat to the relationship that manipulates the situation to go only in the manner you think is right or wrong or eles you can no longer care or love them? IM lucky I have lived in a bigger love from many. I have been loved and forgivness and it is the only thing that allows the same to another . sure i have relationships I need to set boundaries with , No I can not give you all my money right now and you can get angry at that fact it is ok I love you will you forgive me for not being able to meet your needs? I feel hurt I can not stay at your home while Im in town I had looked forward to spending time with you as a friend and made plans, Im sory your child is sick and I must make other arrangements now. boundaries and forgivness is needed in every relationship. conseguences are a part of decisions catcup and we all make decsions and often without regard to the feelings or needs of another. If I do not want to continue in the relationship I can end the relationship and forgive them for the pain or misunderstanding , or the only other choice to to keep working on the relationship and forgive , the ball is always in the indivdual doing the forgivness court.

The same thing happend to me in a practice session . I was NEVER comfortable doing it in meetings so my twig coordinator had me practce with some of his friends at his house to be more confident. so anyways it was during one of these practice sessions that another gal said I was speaking in german and she was able to understand everything I had said. I did ask her what I said and she said I said what I said in the interperation!!! ok . but it did actualy happen. I do not think she was lying to impress me I still did not like doing it .

Not to get moody or anything BUT The church of the body of Christ was built AFTER the ASCENSION (on the day of Pentecost) so what he said in the gospels was said to the jews and gentiles ONLY!!!!!!! Jesus told his followers the holy spirit would come but it was still a mystery to them what that would mean. The secret was hid with GOD ONLY Jesus did not know about it until God told Him and then Jesus Christ told Paul when he gave him his ministry!!!!!! Paul was given the revelation about the GRACE of the secret which NOW includes Jews Gentiles and the Church of the body of Christ. His (Pauls)words now apply to how we are to live etc. We live in a grace period , right now not under the law etc... I do not get rabid about interperating what Paul said or didnt or what Jesus said or didnt we have a holy spirt which will guide and teach us each and every day .

your right just thinking. with so many culture changes and lifestyle progress it would only be a guess at best. It is dangerous and very subjective to have people think what another may think or do. Yet for me I see vey diferent people and situations in the bible it helps me find my choice. UNlike some I dare not ever speak for the Saviour of mankind and His work is clearly done so Im not filling a vacancy now either. that is when it gets dangerous some in twi honestly thought they were a more and improved Paul or some other character from the book and warped themself into a pure fantasy .

Those same types often seem to think they are excluded from the same rules and regulations they try to give others. You know once I was working in a place that sold lotto and lottery tickets completely legal stuff Yet it bothered me to watch people gamble many times several times a day for mucho money . My business? no Can I change their idea of what may work in life or not? no but it bothered me enough to decide for my life I do not want to sell it anymore.. same with alcohol... I do not think alcohol should be illegal but I do not want to be in the loop of those trapped in abuse from it either. I would not think it s wrong for another to do so just me for my my own life.

these three boys came to my door that made me laugh so hard I screamed. One had a monster mask and an overcoat he was the biggest guy the next shorter had a super grin of mischief so I asked him what are you suppose to be he pointed to his ears(they did stick out quite a bit from his head) and his buzzed hair and said "cant you see? " Mickey Mouse. lol the next guy had dark skin about 8 or 9 with a huge necklace of gold hanging off his neck I asked who are you suppose to be? he said "a white boy" lol maybe you had to be here but I lol for quite a while and gave them all my candy. kids lol

JT That is true enough yet this is a discussion and I assume Paul mannerism by his writings and his ideals in the situation I have read about. ever read a book and feel ya know the characters involved in the story ? That is what the printed page is all about expressing an ideal or character with words. to say well that was a nice story but I really do not understand how they felt or made choices would be quite boring and of little use would it not? Same with movies ever get so caught up in a show you can relate to the Actor and the story line that you feel pity or happiness or genuine compassion for the actor playing a part?

How much is about control? I said in an earlier post someone makes me angry,yet I forgive him. now am I in control of my emotions or is the person who can push my buttons to the point I regret what I may have said or done in defense or fighting with him? do I need me to forgive him at all ? He certainly isnt sorry . Twi and some exerpience within it may be the same because of emotions that where played on people got involved in situations they regret. said and did stuff out of character. People tend to get angry when their life is out of their control and I think twi was all about control. Twi taught me to renew my mind in other words change my mind in other word my way or the highway. It was about interpersonal relationships and how Shaz describes the choices I felt I have.

your right but what is the answer then to stay angry and never forgive and live in the misery of being angry forever? I have a family member who makes me very angry yet I must forgive because I frankly can not deal or give place to wasting my time trying to or change him. forgivness allows me to find some peace for myself. ya know love does stupid things to decisions , and twi did play with our emotions and our egos , I fell for it hook line and sinker and got hurt I guess I had to forgive to carry on without the anger . many played the fool and it naturaly makes one angry but I think life is to short to keep it for very long . We fight not flesh and blood and although it was real live people that hurt us, we can understand why and how this stuff happens clearly from the bible testimony that in the very least we are not alone in the witness. Jesus paid a price far greater and got hurt alot more than any of us and that is reason alone to seek peace with others for me.

Satori ! I also forgave and mine was a awful tale to tell. It is the victory in Jesus that I forgave as I was forgiven. I dealt with liars and hypocrits in twi and I just didnt want to be like them I had a change of heart and just wanted to move on with God as my God. to do this I did apply his advice in praying for my enemys and forgiving those who trespass against me. I find it ironic it was all about the bible that got me into the mess and all about the bible that allowed me to carry on with the pain it gave my life.. to much isnt it? well I just think hate and bitterness isnt going to work any better at least for my own peace.

yes like an eagle that is a very true and honest statement and one I think many can relate to. the anger generated by realizing you have been lied to or tricked is deep and even worse if it involves someone you love and respect. I put them in a position of POWER in life I thought they had POwers heck they claimed to have HIGHER POWERS !!! how did this happen ? I had to loook at my own self and the attraction twi played out for me and my family. yes! it takes forgivness of self first to realize we all got into something that was not good.
