My parents gave up their land, homes, horses, and investments to go back into the Family Corps. Once we were in Rome City they controlled our lives every second of every day. I disagree with the nostalgic notion regarding the offshoots. Sure, walking in love is a noble vision for any community, but as to twi, it's just not feasible.

Yes, true. Regarding doctrine, dogma etc... being 'never wrong' or not wrong was/is common but not exclusive to twi, as it's common among churches, and the result are all the denominations. But if the offshoots are of the same primary mindset and beliefs i.e. belief of the basic doctrines yet schisms remain doesn't it make more sense to come together and leave the lesser disputes to the trash can? Remember from PFAL, VPW said something like there were over 4000 Christian denominations? Last time I googled there were many more today, and that can't be God's desire to get more divisions can it? Products of man's egos?

Boundaries. For my life due to PTSD left over from cult trauma I have had remarkably deteriorated boundaries.
When people cross perceived boundaries this sets me off and my reaction is more animal and less cerebral than I would like.
I have had to work on this pretty hard over a decade. I hope they are a little better now but let’s see how today goes lol.
With respect to GSC I’ve found it specifically helpful as the people who commit heinous acts behind closed doors don’t usually admit it in the open. So it has taken a collaboration of firsthand accounts to even put together the truth of events, history, and actions in TWI. As they are very consistently hidden and whitewashed over and minimized. The exact same process happens in other cults regardless of the content. JWs, Mormons, Scientology to name a big 3. So that catches my attention.
When you have an ungoverned body of leaders they will gravitate towards making life easier for themselves and care less about hardships for others. The act of government and democratic government with voting helps even benefits out for all.
With government varying viewpoints can be accommodated. With a dictatorship they are attacked or ignored.
Jesus Christ is a savior to the general populace not a military leader to the few privileged.
VPW is just a molten statue and idea at this point. Plenty still kneel and bow before this idol though. Classes and programs and teaching centers in his name. Not Christs name.
Christ has no current earthly governance. That is all in the future according to most rational Bible accounts. Governance is mankind for better or worse. Like the Tower of Babel account in Genesis. You store up rewards on earth or in heaven and the ego is an earthly reward with short term benefit.
