  1. Thanks Uncle Hairy. Your "letter" gave me a good laugh for about two days..
  2. It was my understanding that Wierwille pronounced some of the words with a K because he could not frame the word with the correct pronunciation, no matter how hard he tried.
  3. For you who do not take squirrels seriously: http://www.scarysquirrel.org/theory/theory.html
  4. I always thought it should have been called "the present hoop," being whatever present hoop you were supposed to be able to jump through..
  5. Didn't you know? The said pelt has been reputed to have been originally owned by St. Peter...
  6. One day in the distant future, the claim of Mog/Wogship of the then president will be a subject of heated discussion. He/she will be forced to document if indeed he is the rightful heir by an unbroken line of Skunk Pelt recepients. The masses will rise up and overthrow such person, because said pelt "skipped a generation."
  7. It was at an advanced class special. 95 I think. Yes, he claimed to have come up with this "new" research. Other leaders were slobbering all over him, saying how we should be so proud to have a MOG that could bring us such "new light."
  8. Nice to see some meat pulled out of the mouth of the lion once in a while.
  9. Maybe they should advertise in the want ads: "Individuals wanted for religious organization. Must be young, have no health or other problems, and especially, no financial obligations. Pay and benefits questionable."
  10. Or worse.. "This is the story of a man, brow-beaten of all logic and sensibilities, that he should wield death with righteous indignation. Only to be understood by those, in the (TWI)lite Zone..."
  11. RottieGrrrl, I like that: "(TWI)sting the scriptures".
  12. Golfie, that is a mean thing to say about the IRS.
  13. I think that good old Harve will be held in high regard for confronting all of us internet "knucklheads" with "the truth". It is intriguing that once many in The Way prided themselves in holding forth the truth of the Word of God. Now they must settle for holding forth "the words of the law."
  14. Some of the stories I have read about abuse from TWI SHOULD end up in a court.
  15. Mr. Frank, nice to see you last time. A un scheduled picnic would be nice.. best regards..
  16. Can you imagine what some of his books would look like with seventy percent of the content in block quotes or parentheis?
  17. Linda, you should try Pink Floyd, the Dark Side of the Moon. This should eliminate any remaining motivation to clean.. Best Regards.
  18. My use of the term "Limbleader" is accurate. This was in 1974.
  19. Here is one more I almost forgot about. John 5:39 reads, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life..." In PFAL, even in the book, Dr. removed "ye think." I heard several defenses to this. One from a Limb Leader who said "it is not in the Aramaic." Another said that since "ye think" did not apply to us, Dr. was justified in removing it. However, I never heard anything from the horses mouth. It is interesting that he would not touch this with a ten foot pole in a public forum. Think we have anything here, Rafael? Best Regards.
  20. The reason VPW's teachings were ubiquous was because VPW found them everywhere.
  21. I still enjoy occasionally listening to Spirit: Twelve Dreams of Doctor Sardonicus. It was probably the best Spirit ever produced.
  22. As for myself, I dropped a lot of those bad habits soon after leaving TWI. I found that people with widely different opinions many times had a lot to offer. But I still cringe when they think they are talking to dead people..
  23. Rafael, it was long ago when I was an innie that I saw this, but I knew it would be wasted breath to bring it up. Who would have been willing to change all of those volumes on account of little old me! Best regards..
  24. Rafael, I should have included a little more information with my post. I Kings 15:29 says about Baasha who seceded Jeroboam's son Nadab: "he left not to Jeroboam any that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the Lord, which He spake by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite." Jeroboam's bloodline was erased from history. It is impossible that Ahab could be his offspring. We could honestly say that Ahab was a successor of Jeroboam in the line of the kings of Israel, but not his offspring. I Kings 16:16 says that Omri was captain over the army of Israel during Baasha's reign, nothing is said about Omri's genealogy, but it could not have been through Jeroboam. It would be hard to believe that Baasha would destroy Jeroboam's offspring and keep one to be the head of the army. Best Regards..
