You make it sound like McDonalds executives purposely put drugs and feces in their meat. Then compare doing it with molesting children. So it must not be a McDonalds only plan to introduce feces in their meat. It happens at the slaughter and butcher plants in the course of preparing meat for market. And this meat could end up anywhere in the world not just at McDonalds, where a supposed conspiracy has been hatched to make our children obese. Conceivable this meat could end up in the White House, Your kitchen, my Saturday bar-b-que, Vincente Fox's box lunches given to illegal's preparing to cross our border, or a school lunch program.

You feel it is constitutionally right for NAMBLA to be able to teach adults how to entice young boys to have sex. And advertising a hamburger should be illegal?

The fact is the military will not work with out-of-shape youth past a certain point. They will give them the opportunity to get their weight down in a given period of time, but if that is not accomplished, it is back into civilian life. Many are working to get obesity classified as a mental illness. Some even want to have obese people classified as a minority. That way individuals will not be responsible for over eating, and can blame it on someone or some past event that happened in their lives.

When my daughter was growing up she lived in the same house as my then wife and me. This fact alone gave use hundreds more opportunities a year to influence her more than McDonalds. Do you have a study or authority that will backup your claim of McDonald's having hundreds more opportunites a year to influence my child more than me?

While it is true boot camp will get recruits in shape. they have to stay in good conditon through out their hitch. or be dishcharged. Even as a member of the Air National Guard I had to weigh in twice a year. They knew my height and set the scale for the maximum weight I could weigh. If the scales tipped it was time for the fat boy program. It was no fun being required to loose pounds. Weigh ins and counseling all the time. I don't remember the time period to loose the unwanted pounds, but it was discharge time if the pounds did not come off.

I googled "peopslters" and found them to be a sub species of gremlin who's main interest in life is to clean out the residue left inside straws used by coke snorters. Peopslters children start out quite young cleaning bongs.

Seems like a legitimate claim. Whether the product is cookies, cars, or carmels, it takes money. If the lawsuits were not filed some girl would miss out on a great experince.

I was not attempting to link homosexuality and child molestation. The question was brought forth of where is the outrage and indignation when this heinous crime is committed against our children? As I was preparing my post excathedra made an additional post at 17:00, which I had not yet read. My post was at 17:10. As the then husband of a former league official and coach, my ex wife was constantly being called by parents who did not like the way she played their child. At games it was a pain just to show up because she would get jumped for not handling this play right, or why didn't she do this instead of that. Believe me there is very little joy from a coach's perspective in children's sports. The reason many do put themselves through the torture and abuse they receive is because no one else will take the position. If they do not do it their kid and others will not get to enjoy the games. These are volunteers who freely give many hours of their precious time. Two or three practices a week, calling to find out why little Johnny has not been to practice for a while, phoning parents to remind them it is their turn to provide refreshments, calling multiple times to see why Joey has not brought his money for his new uniform. Today coach's must be constantly on the lookout for being physically attacked and harmed. Verbal abuse if just part of the game anymore and has to be put up with, although some places are putting limits on it now. It seems yelling insults at a coach and critism of how a league or game is run, is a right we have been endowed with by our creator. I was seeing her post from the perspective of a volunteer who puts up with more abuse than they should ever have to. I over reacted to excathedra's post and I am sorry. I agree it was not spelled out in the rules so she had a right to question the league.

For cryin' out loud....give the coach and the league a break. Let them do what they are there to do: teach the kids a few things about throwing and hitting a stupid ball. The sun will rise tomorrow morning. The best thing your son can take away from this is to learn not to be late. Instead he probably has learned to see himself as a victim.

I believe VPW did allude to knowing Graham as well as Oral Roberts. I heard him say words to the effect of: "Billy could have gotten them born again. Oral could have healed them. And I could have taught them the word". He then made it sound as if both of them forsook all this and went on their own out of ego. And of course this left VPW to do it all on his own, and we should be so thankful he stood on the rightly divided word.

You would think there would be much outrage from a group supposedly started to protect our liberties. The American Civil Liberties Union has weighted in quite heavily on this issue of molesting our children, and found very much wanting. They represent in court a group of perverts known as the North American Man Boy Love Association, or NAMBLA. These sickos advocate changing our laws to allow men to sexually abuse and molest boys. Men and boys having sexually relations is normal in their eyes. And the ACLU has chosen to represent them in court. So I would not expect much indignation from them.

A friend of mine used to do it when I was younger. We would gather around an oject and all would touch it. He would start to tell the oject to rise and soon it would begin to do so. Usually it would rise about waist or chest high and then he would have it go back down. He just told us to concentrate with him and he would start talking and it would tell the object to rise and it would. There was no breathing or any technique used. The object just starting rising. Nothing physically was done to help it along. As far as Ouija Boards go if they did not work Parker Brothers could not continue to sell them year after year. I used to work them with my mother. She would put her finger tips on one side of the piece and I would put mine on another side. One of us would ask it a question, and it would move from one letter to the next letter from an alphabet that is printed on the board, spelling out the answer. For example I asked it where I was going on vacation. It immediately began spelling out S-E-A-T-T-L-E letter by letter. The piece first moved to the S then the E, etc until the entire word Seattle was spelled out. If it did not want to answer a question the piece would run off the edge of the board and stop. The piece was not pushed or moved by either of us. It skimmed across the top of the board on its own accord. Don't know how it happened but can assure you it did. If spirits are not the explanation what is the answer? If it didn't work this game would not be selling off the shelves everyday.

Are you even remotely attempting to interject the possibility of there being.....(cough*snort)..no....(gulp)!!....Santa? That would be right up there with squashing like a bug James Dean, Janice Joplin, and Otis Redding. How would I ever be able to rant and rave without a cause anymore? Or wail into a microphone with such intensity and feeling, yet let someone so important to me slip away? And then have no place to dock my boat in the bay. Or maybe even eliminating the God like status of Jesus Christ, Buddha, or Mohammed? I have found it impossible to believe that Jesus christ is my lord and savior. That somehow God through him, has my entire life planned out, is looking out for me at every corner, and if I but listen, he will tell me what to do in every situation. Maybe I have just not allowed this to happen in my life and shut him out, but am looking in a different direction. I do believe in some power greater than myself but have not been able to inititate, apprehend, comprehend, master, understand, relate to, or reach out to this being, event, place, time, thought....whatever it is. The idea of UU not cramming a doctrine or belief down my throat is a place to start I believe.

I am signed up for a Darth Vader Wand Fighting Class this spring at adult education! Maybe I better rethink that one huh?
