the fact that lcm's birthday is on election day sort of makes an imprint on your mind when you're reminded year after year. luckily I forgot as there is another, more unpleasant association with 11/4 in my mind, but it was certainly made a big enough deal over the years I can imagine it'd be difficult to forget.
