May I be the first one to wish you the best of birthdays, my brother. Know the this is the begining of a new and better year for you.

I know that with the problems that you are having with your daughter right now that things may seem a little bleak at times, but I have been in your shoes and I'm here to tell you that this too shall pass. My daughters are now in there 20's, all the wildness that they had during their teen years is in the past and they are great examples of what can be. We all have a wonderful relationship with each other. You can only go so far with kids (especially teens) and that's when you just have to put them in God's hands. Like I told my youngest daughter before she had her children, "Those aren't cute little babies that you're having. They are potential teen-agers, if you let them live that long." ;)

I love you bro, and know that I pray for you.

From the beautiful hills of the Ozarks to the neighboring pits of Memphis barbecue, we'un wish you'uns a happy birthday.

Maybe one of these days you can come this way and raid my freezer of venison and maybe....just MAYBE....help me "harvest" some delicious and nutritious venison here at the denizen of venison.

Happy Birthday!!!!!

I know they call nj "the Garden State" and some of it is. But there's a whole part along the north eastern part that smells more like the nations' arm pit!

Either way, arm pit or garden, we wave Happy Birthday dear friend.

Aw Geeze guys... ,

Yes, had quite a nice day thank-you-all-so-very-much. Even went down to Ole Miss to help out my college fraternity for rush while picking my oldest up to come home. Man, those college students are getting younger every year!

Today is Midsouth fail day for us all and we haven't ever missed a fair. Tonight on the main stage Grand Funk Railroad will be playing. They always have good music on the last Saturday of the fair. Last year it was Lee Greenwood and the year before that Loretta Lynn. And the performance is free with fair admission, too. Last year, trouble daughter was too embarrassed to be seen with us so she went her separate way. She knows she can't do that now so I'm hoping she'll resign herself to having a good time with the family like she did when she was 10 years old :). Probably not <_< .

Happy Belated Birthday, Sudo. I still think about last year, seeing you at Lee Greenwood's concert and not knowing it was you!!!

Who is the big act this year?

I really enjoyed Josh Turner last year also.

I dont have any kids, but some of my nieces and nephews are going thru the teenage years. God Bless ALL parents!!!!

Thanks again guys...

Here we were at the Mid-South fair. Trouble daughter is on the far right. The young man on my right is my oldest daughter's boyfriend. Didn't make the concert. Past my night-night time
