  1. can anybody remember the name of the African who a couple of centuries ago made it to America on a quest to know more about Jesus ? VP and LCM have years ago mentioned his story ? much appreciation in advance !
  2. you been having a bad week/month Raf? you've gotten a bit prickly there Rafael lol...I don't care one bit whether you stopped believing in the Saviour of mankind and now brush off s.i.t. as 'glossolia'...what I DO care about is yourself and Rocky ATTACKING a poster (moi) in a very personal way !! please desist or I will ask the mods to step in
  3. As I've already stated "I do not really care much at all" ...I never bothered to read Ol Vics recommended book on 'the myth of the six million' because ...I don't really care.....what I CARE about is yourself, Raf and Rocky getting semi- hysterical because I asked a question with ABSOLUTELY NO HIDDEN MOTIVE...no hidden motive because again...I don't really care ! and all I got was accusations, criticism and dismissed as a 'nutter' and a 'tin foil hatter'....mate I exited twi in a lot less time than any of you three so whose the 'nutter' and 'tin foil hat wearers' ?? You'd do well by abiding by the three fingers pointing back saying. You three left a 'hate' group behind, obviously the stench of it's characteristics still cling somewhat.
  4. Rocky can cry wolf all he wants...the fact is HE brought the topic up. He STARTED THE THREAD by posting the book on the holocaust !! I happened to actually read the first dozen or so pages like he encouraged people to do and I asked a simple question about whether the statement from the AUTHOR OF THE BOOK was correct in noting that there were only 300, 000 Jews in Germany at the time of the persecution. It was a simple question because I was just not that interested in poring through a mountain of articles to add up where the other 5,634,000 victims came from. Sorry but I'm just not that terribly interested whether it was 300,000 or 6,000,000...It's just not 'relevant' to me...the same way 60,000 people around the world died last night from car wrecks, murders, disease and old age whilst you and I were sleeping...I don't lose sleep over it and I'll pretty much guarantee you don't either...because it is not RELEVANT to us (unless it was someone we KNOW). Now if the holocaust is 'relevant' to you, I can understand why the dandruff got flying in all directions and the gnashing of the falsies came flying out of the mouth :)
  5. you're starting to sound like you've caught the 'cancel culture' disease lol
  6. Correct WordWolf, simply and innocently asking a question. I have no agenda, motive or inclination for asking the question except when speaking to people about the incident (IF it ever gets brought up and more than likely not by me) ! I am rather surprised by Rockys (WTF) response though, he's normally a rather measured and conservative poster ?! Perhaps it IS spiritual after all lol. BTW, my question also was 'on topic' as far as I can see as it was in regard to the book that was promoted, so again Rocky and Raf ought to thoughtfully consider a response before going off half cocked.
  7. In January 1933, some 522,000 Jews by religious definition lived in Germany. Over half of these individuals, approximately 304,000 Jews, emigrated during the first six years of the Nazi dictatorship, leaving only approximately 214,000 Jews in Germany proper (1937 borders) on the eve of World War II. Copied and pasted from the American/ Jewish holocaust museums 'Holocaust Encyclopaedia'.... my question was "where and how did the total add up to 6 million Jews wiped out IF there were only 214,000 living in Germany when Hitler decided to gas them all" ??!! If you Raf and Rocky don't know, don't ridicule the question, simply answer it or say you don't know ?!
  8. so this seems to be saying WAY less German Jews were killed than has been taught ? Or am I missing something...
  9. Well said....and in fact the author does indeed blame their whole town for not taking heed of the warning.
  10. Anyone lurking around ?
  11. Pretty sure Jesus Christ came to 'uncomplicate life'...if you call that 'simplistic viewing' or an 'easy button' that's your prerogative...
  12. O.k. so none of you 'believe' anymore, that's fine, I do and I'm giving my perspective from a biblical view point...all good, your points (although mooted) are noted :)
  13. actually after looking at actual footage of the BEHAVIOR of a number of the protesters especially the ones yelling and screaming IN THE FACES of people, including police officers and the 'building up' of boldness and aggressiveness when more and more protesters surround ONE individual that has pi$$ed them off...I believe it is a very pertinent question. As one who believes those same mob spirits that incited the crowd towards Jesus have not been taking an extended vacation in Key Largo or some such place, smoking 50 cent cigars and congratulating each other on a job well done 2000 years ago, I believe they are very much active at present.
  14. One question...when the 'mob' was screaming out "crucify him, crucify him"...was it spiritual or merely "out of their mouths their heart speaks" ??
  15. Members 91 892 posts Report post Posted 3 hours ago(copied and posted from 'atheist FAQ') I only have to look around at the suffering in the world, the inspired acts of depravity, the insatiable thirst for unspeakable acts, the 'inhumanity' of humanity WITHOUT even having to believe in the Bible to recognize there is indeed some type of evil, malignant force....and by default there must be a countering love, wisdom, pureness, innocence. When I read THE Word of God it lays it out for me. Reading Rocky's post on the new version of the Jewish witness of the Holocaust book, the first few pages began to answer questions I have had for years, such as WHY did the Jews not take heed of the warnings to them (some of which had to have been Divine interference and miracle working) to get out...long story short...they did not heed the warnings...they ridiculed and lampooned the messenger(s)...man does that sound familiar !! Then, when it was too late and they were on their way to the gas chambers why did 99% of them just walk there like lambs to the slaughter without fighting back ? ? I'm beginning to wonder if their belief and practising of the 'Kabbalah', mysticism and being in a 'spiritual slumber' played a big part...carrying on reading it, GREAT READ, thanks again Rocky (star) :)

  17. And who says R&R are any better ??...their 'leadership' aint exactly the most trust and confidence inspiring group of people in Christendom either !!
  18. Watered Garden, you brought back some memories !! I remember complaining once about the toddlers getting the seconds (left overs from the adults mains) we're talking toast that was burnt, stale and hard as a rock..I yelled that loud it got changed immediately...so they weren't ALL deaf ears...
  19. And yet Gabe still hasn't explained Exodus 31:13 where God clearly says "I give unto you ISRAEL, the sabbath, for YOU andYOUR generations to keep"
  20. I would say R & R will be planning a takeover, could end in a bloody gunfight...would make a good movie lol
  21. there would STILL need to be overseers to lead, stand up, organize, confront, mediate...look at some of the 'whack jobs' like that dude mentioned on here, Barnard, that was screwing all his young maidens, his first name escapes me at the moment...mans heart is evil !!
  22. I've always found it interesting that Isaiah 28:11 is quoted in 1Corinthians 14:21 and it appears to be about the the OT prophesy of a day when Gods' people would speak in tongues and glorify Him in spirit and truth and in Isaiah it is called the 'rest' and the 'refreshing' (v12)
  23. But that's the point Waxit ! give me your definition of exactly what it is to follow or ignore it ?! I seem to remember Jesus bringing this up with the Pharisees about what they would do should one of their oxen fall into a ditch on the sabbath ! Orthodox Jews on a sabbath will not push buttons on an elevator but rather, wait for someone to come along who may be wanting to ride the elevator and get them to push it for them :)
  24. I remember someone saying that "the sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath"
  25. Waxit...take a big breather brutha ! I know you were like this when you were passionate back in the 'way days' so just as you were flogging a dead horse then, maybe consider you're flogging a differn't but STILL dead horse lol...there are many Christians who enjoy freedom IN Christ and will not be brought 'under the power' of any...FULLSTOP. That is our prerogative and I'm sure we continue to evaluate our lives and beliefs on a week by week if not daily basis. Perhaps that's one of the reasons for assembling together, to observe and evaluate ? However, which DAY that happens to be is down to ones own belief according to their interpretation of the Word of God. Should they meet 4 times a week does that make them a 'multiple sabbath keeper' ? Free to love, free to give, free to serve !!
