  1. I do not know if Donna has homosexual desires. However, her husband Craig was so violently against homosexuals it makes me wonder if there was something close to home for him, to set him off. Is Craig just a self righteous lunatic? Or was there something close to him that made him angry and repulse at the very thought of it?
  2. LowlyLollyPopy: What you said earlier on this thread is just pure sour grapes. This coming from a denominational member whose denomination demands at least 10% of its followers income. Who are you trying to fool? For your information I saw "The Passion of the Christ" today. I got in for free through a church group. In contrast, in the 14 years I spent in your denomation nothing was ever free. I have always defended your right to post on this forum. Now though, you are acting like a religious hypocrite.
  3. I hear yea. It sound like petty jealousy by TWI. But then so what else is new? Thanks for your keen and upright perspective Insurgent.
  4. I think that if it is doctrinal that relates to Way religious doctrine you can leave it on the About the Way forum. However, if it is a doctrinal discussion that has nothing to do with TWI religious doctrine, then move it to Doctrinal.
  5. Mike says, Thanks for your insights Mike. It so simply and concisely exhibits the state of mind of a true worshipper of religious doctrine. I was right after all. You truly are the Grease Spot Cafe poster child for where PFAL worship will lead you. The really funny yet sad thing though is that it appears that you actually believe this. My advise for you? If the voices or visions tell you to strap something heavy around your waste that looks suspicious and has a detonation devise please reconsider.
  6. Ex: Did you know that the tides are influenced by the moon? Also that farmers plant and harvest crops according to the lunar cycles? Yes, the moon does influence the earth and hence the earth's people. A look at the creation story in Genesis hints at the moon's importance. The book of Enoch, which I have read and consider to be godly inspired, has more on the moon. For details on this subject you could do a google internet search. Here is one such web site: http://www.farmersalmanac.com/astronomy/astronomy.html [This message was edited by Mark Sanguinetti on March 06, 2004 at 22:38.]
  7. Def, Mo and others: With regarding to the use of shorter more concise posts. I have been telling that to Mike for a number of months since he started posting here. It did not sink in when I first stared telling him this. I doubt if it is sinking in now too. Mike seems to want to stay as the poster child for PFAL insanity when taken to irrational religious extremes. Just a short time reading his posts has often discouraged even the most loyal Wierwille apologist. It just goes to show you. Everyone can contribute something. Even Mike.
  8. Weeding out the less important information might be helpful. Either that or have two versions for people to choose from. One version the condensed or highlighted main points. The other the full version. Thank you IMF.
  9. Thank you for your post IMF. Say Hi to Pat for me, please.
  10. PFAL books you say? I am starting to sell mine on E-Bay. I may keep 3 or 4, however. And yes, I do study the bible with the aid of some bible research software that I have. I have nothing against the PFAL books. They are pretty good, but I just don't read them anymore. Maybe someone else will. Cheers.
  11. Hi NoLongerLurking: Do you have a copy of photoshop on your computer? You can make your photos smaller with this software program. If you don't have this you can send them to me and I should be able to make them smaller for you.
  12. Was I suppose to answer that? This would depend on the individual of course. If someone with Trinitarian views shows godly spiritual fruit I will compliment them. If someone with Unitarian views shows godly spiritual fruit I will compliment them also. One of my closest friends believes in the Trinity. I never argue with him about it. I am not afraid to share some of my written biblical works with him and he is not afraid to offer prayer for me and to share some of his insights. One of the more recent times that we prayed together he offered an outstanding prayer and for this I freely complimented him. Enough said.
  13. Evan, I understand that alot of what we might call Unitarians were murdered in the middle ages by the army of the Roman Catholic church. Entire tribes of people were slaughtered because they would not worship the pope as God's divine representative and believed that Jesus' life began at his birth. Other than, of course, God's plan for mankind's salvation from the beginning. I heard this from a Trinitarian. If this was the case I can see why the Trinitarians would greatly out number people that might be refered to as Unitarians. So I guess it is true that an alive Trinitarian Christian would exhibit more fruit of the spirit than a dead or nonexistant Unitarian Christian.
  14. My point was to give a little flavor of this book as I remember it. Yea, it has a lousy and provocative title, "Jesus Christ Is Not God". Tear off the cover stating the title and basically I think it is a good book. The book is at least good enough to sell on E-Bay. Currently, I have 5 Way publications for sale on E-Bay now. Yes Evan, I agree. The politics and hierarchy of the Way denomination caused it to self destruct. However, Wierwille wanted his power. I am just glad the only time I ever talked to him in January of 1984 I told him that I could not remember his name. I was kidding him, but by this time I was sick of all the name tags and the religious caste system which he gave us. Neither do I have even luke warm regard for some of the councils throughout history which tried to dictate how believers should think, and have faith and worship. Far to much of this was nothing more than the council of pharisees.
  15. Damn that TWI Web site. I have tried to play the link on TWI's web site showing the commercial they ran 3 different times and my computer has locked up and been disabled all 3 times. After that I tried ctrl-alt-delete and this did not work. My computer on-off button did not work. I had to unplug my computer all 3 times. Do you think this is a sign from God?
  16. NO I was a collegiate soccer player, goalie. I was slender, but very aggressive and used to get injured on a regular basis. For example, twice I tore ligaments in my fingers, badly sprained my thumb on another occassion and got badly bruised hips playing indoor soccer while diving for the ball on gymnasium hardwood floors. Later on I got a little smarter and wore hip pads and goalie gloves and the number of my injuries went down dramatically. In the mean time, I saw God heal me and others that I prayed for a number of times. This was in the mid to late 1970s, from about 1975 to 1980. And yes, I did read a copy of JC Is Not God when this book first came out in 1975. As I recall the first chapter shows the many places that Jesus Christ is referred to as the "Son of God" in scripture. This sure is not rocket science. Actually, when the healings and miracles stopped in the Way ministry was when the Way Tree hierarchy and papal authority snuffed it out. Never again my friends. P.S. I almost forgot about my knee injury. I had one of those too, but God healed me. [This message was edited by Mark Sanguinetti on February 14, 2004 at 0:55.]
  17. Good work on your letter DizzyDog. Please send it. And I would send it to a few people at the station and not just one.
  18. VPW a man of great faith????? The only way VPW will be remembered this way is if a denomination sprouts up that idolizes him as much as the Mormons do Joseph Smith. Which reminds me of Mike. He is working on this, but will never succeed with this on Grease Spot Cafe. Sorry Mike, but you do make a contribution to Grease Spot, but not in the way that you think.
  19. Hi Mike: I am merely trying to get you to think for yourself. A difficult job at times, but someone has to do it. It is however, not without its rewards. Sorry, but I do not have the time to look through your 1,957 and counting posts. Besides, your writing style is far from concise and can be seen as laborious.
  20. The advanced search features looks interesting. I will have to try it sometime. Mike, your reasoning needs work to say the least. Victor Wierwille quotes often from the bible in his books. However, some how now this bible that Wierwille quotes from is no good or as you say tattered remnants. However, Wierwille's writings, even though he often quotes from these tattered remnants while incidentally plagerizing the written study of others, are some how a perfect divine revelation. Furthermore, only Victor's words now truly matter with regard to truth and godliness even though he often quotes from tattered remnants. Does that about sum up your religious convictions?
  21. Mike, your religious views sound very similar to the Mormons who advocate their own book of Mormon. They too say that the bible is tattered remnants. Interestingly, I just happened to see a special on the History channel the other night on "Who wrote the Bible". It was very interesting. So tell us again why you think a sexual predator such as Victor Wierwille is the new apostle to replace all others?
