  1. Shaz, Surely she knew the way had millions and she would be well provided for. I disagree that in the 70s and 80s, divorced women were looked upon as tramps. WOuld she not have been looked upon as the injured party when all came out? WB
  2. If veepee was an alcoholic, as Ralph supposedly said, that would make her codependent, by default, and it would explain a lot of things. Just a thought, but I've often wondered if codependent personalities is the reason why a lot of us stayed in twi for years AFTER we recognized things were very screwed up. WB
  3. To dmiller, Don't think Memorial Day week end will work for me because we may be in FL then. I was thinking sometime in possibly June. Sorry. WB
  4. Hey, Anyone interested in doing an Indiana GS type mini-reunion (meet at a restaurant somewhere)? I know I would. Love, WB

  6. AGREED! LOL! That's a miracle in itself. WB
  7. Dot, Thanks for the info, but do you realize it is against the law for pet mailorder companies to sell to anyone in Indiana (prescription meds only such as heartworm, etc)? I believe we're the only state with such a law. Isn't that peachy? WB
  8. Agreed. Also, please don't try to evangelize them and try to get them into your apple-that- didn't-fall-far-from-the-tree splinter groups just because they bared their soul and shared some very tough times they were having in their lives. It's not that easy to do and for gosh sake, if you are in one of those things, please go after fresh fodder, not us. Definition of insanity: To keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results.
  9. zshot, Thanks for that. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. WB
  10. That was so sweet of you to write us. SO, RELAX, AND MAKE THE MOST OF IT. HERE'S TO LOTS OF HAPPY MEMORIES IN THE MAKING.
  11. Yes. I think about one of them quite often.

  15. I remember a very pleasant SOuthern girl from Tenn, I believe, who was a lot of fun to be around and would like to drop her a card and say hello. Does anyone know her whereabouts these days? WB
  16. Wordwolf, Totally agree with ya brother about Mel's motives. It wasn't the easiest thing in the world for him to produce this picture. 20. I had a customer service job once. When the full moon came, I would be ready, after many months of noticing that the disappointed customers would automatically surface on that day as the irate customers and they would all call in, nasty as heck. I was just glad when the full moon fell on the week end. WB Asked why he began studying Greek at age 94, Oliver Wendell Holmes replied,"Well, my good sir, it's now or never!"
  21. ...and who wrote that last one for him, again??????? Asked why he began studying Greek at age 94, Oliver Wendell Holmes replied,"Well, my good sir, it's now or never!"
  22. Just moving this to the top. Does anyone know what city Sam and Liz live in? They were in the family corps and left pretty early on after the reading of the plucark. We were good friends and didn't stay in touch. Please pt me if you know how to get in touch with them. They are from NC and were living in VA when last I saw them. Thanks, WB Asked why he began studying Greek at age 94, Oliver Wendell Holmes replied,"Well, my good sir, it's now or never!"
  23. Johnny, Did you get to see the movie yet? My neck hurts too much from doing data entry all day to look back too far(thank you, God for the job). I know you said you thought you'd have to rent it. Why not go to a matinee? They aren't sold out here and we went the first two days. Just a thought... wb Asked why he began studying Greek at age 94, Oliver Wendell Holmes replied,"Well, my good sir, it's now or never!"
  24. Doze, Ifen you're gonna have to leave the state, at least leave us one of your catalogs before you move! All the best to ya, brother, WB Asked why he began studying Greek at age 94, Oliver Wendell Holmes replied,"Well, my good sir, it's now or never!"
