  1. I was on Staff for 5 years. I don't see an option to choose unless "workED for" the way is my option.
  2. I know they sell data too. I queried an Access database to provide Lexis Nexis with all of the property information from our County.
  3. Tripod!! I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that. Poor doggy! My husband and I rescued a HUGE black lab we called Shaq because he is big and black. We ended up giving him to a friend who LOVES labs and lost his right before we got Shaq. He renamed him Angus.
  4. I was in the SF Bay Area last week. We came home Saturday unscathed by the weather other than the fact that the rain put a damper on our plans. We got to visit with some of my family though. It was a nice trip.
  5. That's an interesting profile name. I'd love to hear how you came up with it.

  6. I love my fur doggies. Both of mine were rescue dogs too. I want more, but I know that would not be the best right now. If I win the lottery, I'm going to give HUGE charitable donations to no kill rescues. I may even start my own. I have a huge space in my heart for dogs, and I HATE to see them living in less than desirable conditions. We have neighbors down the street who keep their dogs outside 24/7 365 days a year. It saddens me when we have over 100 degree weather (common in Arizona) and some freezing days in the winter (we're in a higher elevation so we do get them). These dogs sleep in a hole they dug in the front yard. These idiots have their big boat and jet skies out front amongst the rest of their junk in front of their junky house, so you know what their priority is. I don't understand why they have dogs. I have to add one more thing. I was not fond of animals until about 4 years ago. I had brought that mind-set with me from being in TWI (no pets, they smell, etc.) I didn't want a smelly dog in my house. When I got married, my husband had a chocolate lab. While I was job searching and at home, that big boy became my baby. I'm the one who let him in the house and babied him. One dog I have now is a border collie mix, with long black hair. It gets EVERYWHERE!! But I still love her. I just vacuum more.
  7. A lot of employers now do background checks. Wouldn't a drug conviction come up in a background check?
  8. Bride: Do you grate the potatoes raw or do you boil them before you grate them? If you don't boil them first, how do you cut down on the amoutn of starch from them?
  9. I would bet they are still in the Bay Area. I can't see them leaving. They liked living in California. But I haven't seen them in well over 15 years. I can't remember their last name to check them on whitepages.com.
  10. Skyline chili is an acquired taste. I don't care for it myself.
  11. Thanks for the link. I would have never remembered that name. I didn't even remember it was German. Cincinnati has some unique food items. They put cinnamon in their chili too.
  12. I stayed at a bed and breakfast several years ago in Covington, Kentucky, right across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. They offered a traditional Kentucky breakfast sausage-type thing, but i can't remember what it was to this day. Does anyone know?
  13. Happy Birthday Dude! I used to know you from Oregon. Take care.

  14. That game gave me polydipsia. Who's turn is it to muddle the Mojitos??
  15. Happy Birthday! I hope all is going well for you.

  16. Michael Rood always struck me as a nut job. I can't imagine that he had a ministry that even got as big as it was. That information is a swirling of garbage which I am sure goes on many places, so I guess I am not surprised. I am surprised this guy had so many working for him while he travled the globe.
  17. I'm a little late in joining this thread. I saw Joyce Meyer in 2003 when she was in San Diego. One night was enough for me. It reminded me so much of TWI that I wanted to gag. I was still getting over waybrain at the time, so I thought maybe I was jaded. But then she shared that a lady wrote in about how Joyce's minisry wasn't affecting her positively as it was previously. Joyce accredited it to the fact that the lady didn't share financially with her ministry. I heard from Joyce's mouth: "If you don't share financially in this ministry, you won't get the benefit of it." I left knowing I wasn't so jaded anymore. I heard that song a dance way too many times in TWI.
  18. It was interesting to see the parallels between all of the ancient religions and Christianity. I still wouldn't make the information in that video my truth though.
  19. Will you still have to take the methotrexate as well? I thought Remecade was a once monthly or even bimonthly drug. I have a co-worker who has a daughter on it. She has Crohn's disease. She goes in monthly for the infusion.
  20. I mentioned that to him in a response I sent through his website.
  21. Oh my gosh! I just saw Jenny Tait! I would have never recognized her in that picture. She and her second husband were my first TCs. I totally forgot she was in the 6th Corps. Does anyone ever see or talk to her now?
  22. When I left HQ in 2001, she was living with or near Sharon and Rob. They lived in Midland, MI, at the time.
  23. Eww! I'm feeling sick.....
