Dear Jonny,

I hope this letter finds you well. I can't tell you what our time together has meant. The days, the nights. It makes what I have to say even harder, but I will try.

I know that this will be hard to understand now, but someday, I know it will make sense. I have to go. Away.

Please understand, it isn't you - it's me. Rather than hurt you down the line, I felt it best to do this now, before this relationship goes too far as it surely will. We know it will. We know.

In time, the hurt will go away, but the memories - all good ones - will always remain. So - for now, let's just leave it at this. If our paths should cross again someday, on a street corner in Paris, or a loading dock in New Jersey, or even a Greyhound bus station somewhere in Wyoming, and we recognize each other, just remember this - the good times. They were good times. We will smile and remember...the good times. :(

I love the petro chemical industry! My wife and I just made eighteen thousand dollars this month off of Texas Natural Gas via mineral rights royalties! Haha! Love it, and it's just gonna keep on rollin in month by month! That is Ephesians 3:20 to me baby yeah!!! I always knew God would do it for us! The ship has come in without "going down off the coast" as Stevie Kay Louie used to sing. Thank God for His wonderful matchlless Word! Always knew it was trustworthy from the first day I heard it!

I'm really gonna miss you! I'm not here as often as I used to be, either, but you are one of my favorites. Please consider not erasing your name here-- mebbe you can do what the ! Family does and pop in with updates? (I'm being selfish!)

I know also when ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I had to break away awhile back cuz it was bad for my family. I can pop in every once in awhile, but can't ever let myself get as addicted as I had once been, or it wouldn't be good. So I know what you're saying about having to move on, I'm just being selfish cuz I'm gonna miss you!!

Love all of yous folks. But, it is time to move on. I had long since said good bye to The Way International before I came here, and I have decided that even though this place is addicting, and hard to stay away from, it is time for me to go. Being here many times, has stirred me up about my past, and sometimes that has been good. And at other times that has been bad.

I have learned a great many things here, and some of those things were hard to come to grips with. I didn't believe at first that the upper leadership of The Way actually took advantage of women who didn't know to say "No". But I have found through communications with many of you that it is true. And that was so wrong man....so wrong!

But as I have stated many times, I don't believe that The Way started out as a "sex and money farm", but rather, VPW started out wanting to help people and wanted to see a radical change in the Christian Church which would actually help people. However, I do believe that he succumbed to the "pleasures of sin for a season" ( a long season), and that he brought a wonderful ministry down into the "usual cess pools of sin and iniquity" where Mankind has preferred to snorkel about with unmittigated glee, therefore hurting many many people in an insidious manner...

But, I need to go on. Need to leave the past behind and keep on going to take care of my wife and kids.

God has blessed us with unbelieveable blessings and, well, it is just TIME.

God bless you all. I won't name a one of you in a "thank you", for there are so many and I don't want to leave any one out. This is not a "I'm taking my toys and going home!" thing (which I have done before-I confess) but rather a "I just gotta go" kind of a thing. Just time to leave it in the past is all...

I know that when we all got involved in The Way, it was because we wanted to change the World, and that we thought that we had found the way to do just that. And ya know what? That was a beautiful thing for us to want to do!! You all are beautiful people and beautiful in God's eyes.

I think of the song by Hope Somebody (I Got Outs wife) who sang;

Oak.....so what if Johnny wanted to share his success with us? If something important, cool, prosperous happened to me I'd want to share it. That doesn't make a person bad or looking down on someone else or others. I was happy when I read Johnny's post and happy for him and his family for the prosperity. I think it's cool and congrats Johnny! Hope you have more tremendous prosperity!
